Tuesday in Stockholm with cohort 6 continued in the best way! Our participants sharpened their fundraising skills during the 5 hours pitch training session led by Fundraising Bootcamp with Francois Mazoudier and Marcela Donatello. It was inspiring to see our talented founders refining their pitches and gaining invaluable insights from experienced international fundraising experts 💡 🎤 To refresh and recharge, we also experienced a deeply relaxing Infrared Meditation with naima, founded by Sophie Jahn, allowing everyone to stay centered and focused amidst the intense training. They provided healthy fika to the participants and highlighted the importance of #superfoods for maintaining a healthy body, staying energized, and staying focused. Big thanks to all involved and to Time to Raise cohort 6 startups who pushed through this eventful day. Stay tuned for how the Stockholm trip ended with the big finale 🎉 #Techarena #InvestorNetworking #FoundersPitch #Innovation #BuildingTheFuture

We are at the final stage of cohort 6 of Time to Raise this fall, meeting in Stockholm over two days. We started today with lunch and legal workshop at Schjødt, going through term sheet, investment agreement and shareholder agreement. The Partners Ylva Enquist (fd Forsberg) and Joachim Funariu went through the different terms, what to expect and what to watch out for, and the session became very interactive. Lots of questions and stories from the founders were shared! Thank you Schjødt! The day continues with pitch perfection and infrared meditation! Stay tuned. Shout out Henrik Elvingsson

Last week of online workshops in Time to Raise, cohort 6 was packed with three sessions, two on the same topic but from very different fund perspectives. We got to listen to Sami Ahvenniemi, General Partner at Vendep Capital, who talked about the importance of clean cap tables. He shared some stories and experiences from several of his previous exited investments. Yesterday, we had two sessions on the same topic, but from very different funds: Nadja Carina Reischel from Cherry Ventures and Dr. Nadine Geiser from World Fund. Nadja talked about Cherry's investment process, but also what you should think about as a founder when preparing for fundraising. All investors at Cherry are previous entrepreneurs, which makes their approach quite unique. Nadine talked about the special business model of a VC that you as a founder need to understand, as well as several transparent stories of what can and have happened during the investment processes that she has been part of. Thank you very much for your valuable insights! #workshop #fundraising #vc

Last week of workshops coming up!
⏰ As we approach the final week of Time to Raise by Techarena's 8-week fundraising program, we reflect on the impressive progress made by the 11 startups in this cohort. Over the past weeks, these founders have gained invaluable knowledge, strengthened their investor networks, and learned from each other and other founders who have shared their fundraising journeys. The program has been packed with engaging workshops and mentorship sessions, covering key aspects of the fundraising process such as: 💡 𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬: What to prepare and what NOT to do when fundraising (Ventech, Pale blue dot) 🎯 𝐂𝐫𝐚𝐟𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐩𝐢𝐭𝐜𝐡: How to tell your startup’s story with a solid pitch deck (daphni, Jenny Lindblad) 📈 𝐅𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐲: How to run a successful process and demonstrate product-market fit (New Enterprise Associates (NEA), Oxx) 💬 𝐁𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐛𝐢𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐬: Reversing biases in pitching & asking great questions (Emma Rees) 🌟 𝐈𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬: How investors choose startups and prepare for Series A (Kinnevik, Northzone) In the last week, we’ll hear from Vendep Capital, World Fund, and Cherry Ventures as the program comes to an end for the fall cohort. 👉 Meet these startups at Techarena 2025 #Techarena #Fundraising #womenintech #Investment #Startups

Pitch training from a professional coach is something many founders take for granted, but what a valuable investment it is! Thank you Jenny Lindblad for coaching each startup in Time to Raise, one by one 👏 ELIZA COMMUNICATION #pitch #coaching

A transparent workshop with behind the scenes, exclusive insights - that is what Maxine Rior at Northzone delivered to cohort 6 of Time to Raise. She gave a more holistic view on how investors choose startup investment cases. Everything is not black and white and the metrics that you "should" have for a seed or a series A round is many times not enough, and sometimes more than enough. They prefer cases that shows the potential with historic data rather than painting the hockeystick growth of the future - that is anyways an analysis that the investors can do themselves. Let's say it like it is: we understood why Northzone is a ferrari fund, and not a fiat to say the least. Thank you Maxine! #fundraising #timetoraise

Great workshop by Anna Adlarson and Charles Martin from Kinnevik on the topic of Getting ready for your Series A! We discussed the different topics that matter for VCs when evaluating a series A case, and the metrics needed to prove your traction. BUT, it all depends on your business model - something that is often forgotten when thinking about "a VC case". We often talk about software and marketplace metrics, and forget about R&D led softwares, hardware services and asset heavy businesses. When raising funds, it's important to have this in mind and not compare your business metrics with another business model. Thanks for a great workshop! #fundraising #seriesA #timetoraise

We end the week on top with a workshop by Emma Rees on Reversing the bias when pitching & How to ask great questions. A very interactive workshop where the founders in cohort 6 of Time to Raise got to share their experiences with questions from investors, and where Emma shared her best practices on how to answer them in the best possible way. Did you know that female founders more often get "preventative" questions, while male founders get "promotional" questions, regardless if the person asking the question is a male or female? It's an unconscious bias where you're not even aware of that it's happening. There are tactics on how to answer these questions to turn them into more promotional, and this is exactly what Emma teaches. Thank you Emma! #workshop #bias #femalefounders

Bob Thomas, partner at Oxx, delivered a true deep-dive into Product-Market fit, Go-to-Market fit and segmentation of cohorts. A workshop that received top top feedback from the entrepreneurs. We learnt how to segment your customer cohorts beyond time periods, and why it matters when proving your PMF and GTM strategy with metrics that matter. Understanding the underlying reasons... Thank you, Bob! #workshop #segmentation #productmarketfit #gtm #fundraising
