Thank you for growing with us! 🌱 Last week, we concluded the Grow Culture Webinar Series of 2024 with the session "Train your brain: the power of neuroplasticity." The series brought us together to explore essential themes that shape culturally diverse workplaces, such as: - Decision-making in culturally diverse workplaces - Stress: a motor for intercultural incompetencies - The cost of language diversity: what gets lost in translation? - The power of perspective We are grateful to everyone who joined us throughout the year and enriched the sessions with thoughtful questions and valuable input. 📧 Curious about how your organization can benefit from talks like these? Our sessions can be tailored to help your team enhance communication and collaboration. 🧠 We often underestimate the brain's ability to reorganize itself by forming new neural connections. Here’s what you can do to train your brain to adapt to new experiences and environments: 🎨 Try something creative like painting, writing, or drawing. 🌍 Learn a new language. 🧘♀️ Practice mindfulness. 🏃 Move your body — exercise is as good for your brain as it is for your muscles. 🎶 Pick up a musical instrument, even if it’s just for fun. 🛤️ Take new routes — literally and figuratively (try new things!). We’ll be talking about all of this in our webinar next Tuesday, November 26th. Curious to learn more? Register here: 👉 https://lnkd.in/dcUNSCAX It’s going to be fun and full of practical tips on becoming more open, understanding, and empathetic towards others. We'll also explore how neuroplasticity can help us develop intercultural competencies to communicate, connect, and thrive better across cultures. Let’s grow together! -------------------------------- #webinar #neuroplasticity #ic

Want to guarantee discomfort in front of an audience? Wear something sparkly and talk about something that scares us all—failure. That’s exactly what our colleague Valérie did, owning a bold sequin top while sharing her journey of stepping out of her comfort zone and explaining why we should all start celebrating failure (yes, really!). But why on earth should we celebrate failure? 🌱 It reduces fear of failure. It’s less scary once you realize it’s just part of the process. 🌱 It encourages us to try new things. 🌱 It helps us see failure not as something to avoid, but as a natural part of growth. 🌱 It provides feedback. A.k.a. the universe telling you, “That didn’t work, but try this instead!” 🌱 It helps build resilience. If you can fail and laugh about it, you’re basically unstoppable. 🌱 It creates a positive team culture. When we embrace failure, we create a team that’s supportive, open, and ready to learn. A big thanks to everyone who joined us and to United Spaces Torsgatan for hosting this inspiring session. 💡 Up next: Our final IC webinar of the year on neuroplasticity, happening on November 26.
