  • Last week our Senior Change Manager Peter Robertsson participated in a roundtable connecting other workplace leaders with each other. A great way to exchange experiences with other professionals in the same field as you. When looking back at the evening Peter shared the following. “I highly enjoy events like this because it has a focus on connecting people with similar challenges but different perspectives on how to solve them. And of course, it is nice to meet people in real life under social and relaxed circumstances" When looking at interesting perspectives on workplace related matters that emerged from the evening, Peter mentions the following. “One interesting thing I take with me from the evening was a frequently aired opinion that there are many different challenges related to stakeholder management in workplaces today” As workplace consulting is one of the things we are specialized in at Drees & Sommer Sweden, we are eagerly looking forward to next year when we get the chance to support and advice even more companies and organizations on how to create healthier and better working environments in the future. Reach out to info.sweden@dreso.com if you like to learn more about how we can support you in the next year.

  • Not too long ago our colleague Alexandra Lundberg Santacruz took part in “Tillgänglighetsdagen” which is held by “Tillgänglighetssakkunnigas riksförening” a non-profit organization covering all of Sweden, representing individuals who are certified as accessibility advisors in their profession. The topic for this specific get together was to take a closer look at the new building regulations issued by Boverket in Sweden. As someone who also serves as a deputy for the board and contributes with specific expertise in many fields, one being universal design, Alexandra is very passionate about matters closely related to accessibility and contributing to inclusiveness in the built environment. She often serves as an accessibility advisor in her position at Drees & Sommer Sweden and has supported many clients in that role. If you are in need of advice and expertise when it comes to assessing accessibility for those who have an impaired movement or orientation ability do not hesitate to reach out to info.sweden@dreso.com or to Alexandra Lundberg Santacruz directly to discuss the matter further.

This is exactly what our colleagues Karin Ståhl and Charlotte Fredholm did last week when participating in the annual Christmas breakfast at the German - Swedish chamber of commerce. A great chance to get some new insights, as well as form new connections at the same time.

  • ⚡ It is the lifeblood of our society. Without a properly functioning infrastructure, everything grinds to a halt: power, roads, connections. • Recently our Senior Change Manager Vibeke Stadling took part in the event “Hjärndagen” which is an event entirely focused on diving into the latest research relating to the brain. Many new interesting insights and viewpoints from different themes were discussed, such as anxiety, memory, sleep and how VR and AI can impact treatment forms, all very interesting topics. As a person who is passionate about wellbeing, a sustainable work life and smarter working Vibeke not only acts as an adviser to clients, she also gives lectures on brain smart working, which are based on the model "healthy mind platter“. These lectures dive into techniques that will let you understand your brain better and how by doing minor adjustments you can create more balance between stress and recovery, in both your work life and everyday life. These lectures include both theoretical parts, practical tips, as well as useful take home exercises. If you and your organization feel the need to gain new insights, perspectives and useful tips on such topics, do not hesitate to reach out info.sweden@dreso.com or contact Vibeke directly on LinkedIn, to discuss and tailor a lecture that fits the needs of you and your organization.

  • Yesterday Sweden's best-looking office 2024 was crowned! Out of 106 contributions, the one we have been involved with Sölvesborg-Mjällby Sparbank went on to become a top 10 finalist and ultimately landed on place number 7, a great achievement and we could not be prouder. Together with Sölvesborg-Mjällby Sparbank and John Sävesjö from Myt Design Studio we were of course there in-person to take part in the event all together and to celebrate as a team 🙂
