Inauguration of the Hybrid OR at Trollhättan, Sweden - Equipped with Opragon Hybrid ventilation system! A total of eight new operating theaters at NÄL, including the brand new hybrid theater, are ready after construction that has been ongoing since autumn 2020. In the hybrid theater, vascular surgery is performed in all blood vessels, with the exception for vessels inside the heart and brain. "The hybrid OR is a paradigm shift for the vascular surgery. We are still faced with the same problems, but have new tools to solve them with, all under the same roof, in the same room and with much higher patient safety", says Rikard Hänggård, OR Nurse. We’ve equipped three advanced operating rooms with Opragon, setting a new standard in patient care, safety, infection control, and environmental responsibility. Opragon is designed not only to deliver superior infection control but also to support green hospital initiatives. Compared to traditional ultra-clean ventilation systems, Opragon is highly energy-efficient, reducing both operational costs and environmental impact. This aligns with the hospital's commitment to sustainability, promoting a safer and healthier environment for patients, staff, and the planet.
