Many people want to make a positive impact but often struggle with where to start, especially when facing complex, deep-rooted social and environmental challenges. This reality is what led @Amanda Goh to her role in sustainable development and her involvement in @Boehringer Ingelheim’s B-Effect, a program designed to cultivate a community of employees that contribute to sustainable #socialimpact within the company. The question at the core of the program is: “How can we make it easy for colleagues to get involved?”. The B-Effect program then led to the creation of the Match & Chat interactive game, inspired by the need to strengthen social connections and its proven impact on health and longevity. Soon, employees began to recognize the benefits of being involved in meaningful work, with a sense of shared responsibility, as colleagues realized their potential to create positive transformation for people, animals, and the planet. Amanda's work through B-Effect shows that making #socialimpact accessible and exciting can create a meaningful shift in how we approach #changemaking in the workplace.
