Alukin Boats in FMV contract for a new amphibious utility boat for the Swedish Armed Forces together with Svekon and Nimbus Group. Alukin Boats, together with Svekon and Nimbus Group AB (publ) has signed a long-term agreement with FMV for the development and delivery of the Type 200 Smaller High-Speed Motorboat.   The agreement covers the development of a pre-series boat over the next two years, with the possibility of series production of up to 100 boats over a seven-year period. Total contract term including options spans 9 years, with an additional 6 years of support for spare parts and maintenance.   MSMB 200 will be built in aluminum, will be 10 meters long and equipped with a powerful inboard engine. The boat will have the capacity to transport two crew members and eight passengers with luggage, which will make it a flexible and efficient tool for the Swedish Armed Forces' naval operations.   A strong team The collaboration is led by a team from Svensk Konstruktionstjänst (Svekon), and Alukin Boats and Nimbus Group are their partners in this contract. The total team has a broad experience of boat development and defense projects. Together, the team ensures that the boats will meet the Swedish Armed Forces' high demands for performance, durability and functionality.   -       Alukin’s fully welded aluminum boats are famous for their robust design and great durability.
