🎉 We have received an 'Ae' carbon credit rating from BeZero Carbon, and a stellar AAA standalone carbon rating! A major milestone as this is BeZero's first public ex-ante rating for Direct Air Capture + Storage (DACS).   🌟 The AAA rating will place us in the top ~0.1% of all projects rated by BeZero, as the 2nd-ever to achieve their highest possible rating. The overall 'A' (ex-ante) rating accounts for all the remaining project risk until we become the world's 2nd DAC company to issue carbon credits. The result: a "high likelihood" that pre-purchases ('ex-ante purchases') from us will deliver 1 tonne of CO2 removal. 🫡   🚀 Our commitment is to sell the world's best carbon credits. 🌟 One of our greatest assets is our team: Meet Hannah Wanjau, our thermal engineer! 🌡️ Specializing in the design and optimization of heat exchange systems, Hannah ensures our DAC machine units achieve peak efficiency in heat transfer through thermal modeling, simulation, experimentation, and testing.   💡 She embodies the Octavian mantra, "Build fast, learn fast," and in her words, she shares: ‘Projects, no matter how small, are prone to things going wrong, sometimes due to circumstances beyond our control (Black Swans). So, it's important to always strive to minimize the window for things going wrong by first planning carefully and then implementing swiftly - reducing the chance for unexpected setbacks, helping you learn quickly, and iterate fast through designs.’   👏 We are incredibly proud to have Hannah on our team, bringing both expertise and resilience to our tech development journey.
