#IamAPHRC's Executive Director, Catherine Kyobutungi, advocates for a global health funding shift from a single-issue agency approach to strengthening national health systems. She highlights how the Global Fund has supported infrastructure for three infectious diseases, yet similar support is missing for noncommunicable diseases like diabetes and hypertension, which are increasingly cutting lives short in Africa.
