  • Afribot Robotics and Adanian Labs are uniting their expertise to reshape how young learners across Nairobi and its surrounding communities engage with STEM. This partnership extends beyond introducing new equipment or curricula and sets in motion a thoughtful ecosystem where scientific exploration, ethical digital practices, and mental well-being are woven into a single learning experience. From December 16, 2024, we will host a one-week Kids Bootcamp dedicated to fostering authentic innovation. Through hands-on projects, thoughtful mentorship, and a keen awareness of each learner’s psychological landscape, we aim to nurture children’s capacity for critical thinking, problem-solving, and responsible digital citizenship. To mark the beginning of this collaborative effort, we are convening a webinar on the interplay between technology, devices, and the emotional health of children. Rather than skimming the surface, expert speakers will examine the subtle pressures of the digital world and propose realistic strategies for safeguarding the minds and online lives of young people. We invite educators, parents, and all who care about the intellectual and emotional growth of the next generation to join us. This is more than a program; it’s a forward-looking commitment to raising capable, conscientious innovators for the realities of tomorrow. Founder @Blue EcoLab | Startup Ecosystem Builder | Building Sustainability and Blue Circular Economy ♻️

🤖 Just visited Afribot Robotics Center in Mombasa, and WOW—my mind was absolutely blown! Right here, at the heart of Mombasa, Jasin Owili, CEO of Afribot Robotics, is redefining innovation and inspiring the next generation of tech leaders, engineers, and problem solvers. Robotics isn’t just "cool tech" but it’s a lifeline for the future. In Kenya, where the median age is just 19, equipping our youth with STEM skills isn’t optional, it’s ESSENTIAL. From kids as young as four building their first bots to university grads tackling real-world problems, Afribot is shaping Kenya’s future, one circuit at a time. And as I said before, Mombasa is no longer just a tourist destination, it’s Kenya’s "Blue Bay Valley" of innovation to watch. 🚀🌍 To anyone in or coming to Mombasa and he/she is curious about robotics, I can’t recommend Afribot Robotics enough! Their center, located at Mombasa Mall, Naivas building, Mwembe Tayari, 2nd floor, is the perfect place to ignite your mind, your kids’ creativity, or simply explore what’s possible with tech. A huge shoutout to Faith for being an incredible guide and showing me the magic. From mini robots for kids to advanced bots solving real-world challenges, this place truly has it all. (Confession: I asked if I could take a robot home—they politely said “No.” 😅) Thank you, Jasin and Faith, for an unforgettable experience. 👏 #AfribotRobotics #RoboticsInnovation #STEMEdication #MombasaInnnovation #BlueBayValley #RoboticsForKids #DigitalFuture #KenyaTech #MombasaTech #InnovationHub
