Jum ir-Repubblika | Republic Day Back in September we celebrated Independence day, and tomorrow we consolidate it. Tomorrow, Malta commemorates 50 years since becoming a Republic State. On 13th December 1974, Malta appointed its first-ever president: Sir Anthony Mamo. Malta’s Mnajdra Temples, a UNESCO World Heritage site, are tributes to ancient ingenuity! Did you know? Since being built 5000 years ago, these megalithic structures align perfectly with the sun solstices. On the winter solstice – signifying the sun’s ‘rebirth’, sunlight streams and illuminates specific areas of the temples due to their specific alignment. This is believed to have been designed to mark time, honour solar cycles and even connect with their divine. Ce fut une journée riche en rencontres et en échanges avec de nombreux acteurs de l'industrie événementielle, tous curieux de découvrir les opportunités qu'offre Malte comme destination MICE. 🌍 📌 𝐌𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐝𝐞 𝐥𝐚 𝐣𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐞́𝐞 : 𝐀𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐫 𝐝𝐞́𝐝𝐢𝐞́ 𝐚̀ 𝐌𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐞 : J'ai eu le plaisir d'animer une session de présentation pour une dizaine d'organisateurs, où nous avons exploré les atouts de Malte en matière d'infrastructure, de connectivité, de RSE et d'expériences uniques.
