the world is yearning for something different ... and for us, 2024 added yet another confirmation for that 👀 what did larger.world do this year? 💻 we launched and tested our #mvp platform with 841 users. lots of ups and downs, challenged by managing a freelance remote developers team with little budget to expand our internal capacities (note to self: build simple, user-centric in front-end & back-end) kudos to endless support by Guillermo, Lindita (and Arta), Brainster & Pavlina 🪺 we hosted & organized 14 unlearning workshops and sessions across 4 countries, with 100+ participants (special thanks to our facilitators and speakers Christina, Nwabisa, Tumi, Bistra, Jacqueline, Natasa, Barbara, Gabriella, Gabriele, Persson, Audrey, Barbara, Sebastian, Josefine and many more) 🧶 we untangled 49 topics, from "grief at work", "dei: in or out?" to unlearning consumption behaviour and the art of belonging - with 80+ content pieces produced by our amazing community of speakers, writers and videographers (special thanks to Lindita, Lerato, Dominique, Mildred, Lisa, Katha & Johanna) 👽we presented larger.world at 38 business meeetings and felt like aliens after only half of them (we keep being gentle to ourselves) - kudos to Jacqueline & Bistra for their efforts 🍾 among 100+ application, larger.world made it to the top 14 funded ventures with First International Incubator by #AWS - special thanks to everyone involved what did we learn? 🥑 unlearning isn’t a "tool" to get lost in the right direction - it’s a way of life. our work has to encourage and support that lifestyle rather than offer packages only for businesses. 🤖 we are a radically human multimedia agency - in how we analyse, select and produce all our media content. that means: we never use AI, LLMs or any other virtual assistants. why? because we believe that topics like inclusion or regeneration aren’t a technological problem but a matter of social cohesion and cultural shift 🪂 we strengthen our approach through intersectionality, with conscious efforts towards feminist, non-binary, decolonial and eco narratives what can you expect in 2025? 🔴 we are moving away from paid content - our unlearning content will be open to everyone #noCc #nopaidmembershipneeded 🟢 we do a full revamp of the UX, with new features and an accessible design, helping to make unlearning a part of everyday life (special thanks to Pavlina Gjorgievska-Sandev M.Sc.) #sneakpeakbelow 🟣 our memberships will start from 3 euros only, offering access to additional events and personalized unlearning support 🟠 our content will go deeper and more radically honest #slowjournalism #rightrelationships if you haven't yet, please subscribe to our newsletter to get more updates in January 💚 link in comments #UnlearningAsALifestyle #NewBeginnings #Humility #evolution #Togetherness

these are the last days of 2024. a year full of meaningful work and gratitude. but also challenges.
