We believe that 20th century digital infrastructure is no longer able to support the 21st century demands for scale, trust, and security. Today’s centralised systems are vulnerable to downtime, cybersecurity risk and being a single point of failure. At the same time the future of industry infrastructure will be defined by an ever increasing demand for secure, high value digital interactions. Today’s technology is unable to offer the necessary level of trust to meet these needs, at global scale. IOV42 is the only platform ready to handle your biggest problems. Scale. Trust. Security.

📆 We've been hearing a number of sighs of relief about the 12 month extension of EUDR. But for some customers who had worked hard to be ready by end of 2024, they plan on using the extra time to their competitive advantage - supporting suppliers, delivering additional value to customers and being able to evidence claims of 'deforestation free' products. 🎄 Amidst our office's festive background music, the iov42 | Interu team enjoyed a great meeting with clients visiting from 🇲🇾 Malaysia and 🇳🇱 The Netherlands yesterday. We were really encouraged to hear about the ways Malaysian companies are handling some of the localised barriers to sharing critical geolocation information required for end to end traceability. What we’ve seen shows compliance is possible and we can’t wait to share more in 2025. Richard Low, Frank Teeuwen #EUDR #traceability #responsiblesourcing #tech4good

🌍 Did You Know? 🌱 Under the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR), strict due diligence rules ensure that products entering the EU market are deforestation-free. For bulk-traded commodities, such as timber, businesses must provide geolocation, harvest dates, and species information. 📍📆🌳 However, for composite products, like chocolate bars, the rules shift slightly. Only the main commodity—in this case, cocoa and its derived products—must meet the full due diligence requirements. 🔍 For example: The cocoa used to make a chocolate bar must be fully traceable, with detailed information about its harvest location and origin. However, other ingredients, like palm oil, do not require the same level of due diligence under EUDR. These distinctions help businesses prioritise compliance efforts while navigating the complexities of multi-ingredient products. 💡 When and when not to use AI to reach EUDR compliance. The surge in supply chain software solutions promises innovation—but are we risking fines for non-compliance, supplier fatigue and reduced data quality in the process? We sat down with Eduard de Boer from Ingenieursbureau Evan Buytendijk BV to discuss the role of AI in compliance and traceability, the importance of building systems with expertise, and why human judgment remains critical for navigating regulations like the EUDR. Eduard shares practical examples of how AI can streamline workflows, but also warns against overreliance on it for critical decisions like risk assessments. His insights highlight the need for thoughtful integration of technology in supply chains. 👉 Read the full interview here: https://lnkd.in/ecpRwTJH Let’s talk: How is your organisation balancing innovation and compliance in the face of new regulations? 💬 #SupplyChain #Compliance #EUDR #AI #Innovation #Deforestation #Regulation

It's official: the EU's information system (Traces NT) is live, and so is our integration – A Milestone in EUDR Compliance. 🚀 This comes following last nights confirmation that the Council and the European Parliament have agreed to postpone the date of application of the new EU rules on deforestation by one year. "As part of our mission to help businesses navigate the complexities of the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR), we’re thrilled to announce the successful direct integration of Interu’s platform with Traces NT. This marks a significant milestone on our journey to supporting robust, efficient, and reliable compliance systems for Operators. "While the implementation of the EUDR has been delayed by a year, the criticality of preparing for its requirements remains unchanged. Traces NT will become a key part of your compliance process as the platform for submitting Due Diligence Statements (DDSs) consisting of product and geolocation information and your self-assessed EUDR declaration. As you will be required to work closely with Traces NT, it’s essential to understand its capabilities and limitations." - David Coleman, Chief Product Officer at iov42 | Interu Read what Traces NT can and can't do in the carousel below and learn how Interu's integration with the EU's system can make your life easier. 👉 Get in touch to learn more at: contact@iov42.com And check out Traces NT here: https://lnkd.in/dGXC-ieu #traceability #deforestation #regulation #eudr #tracesnt #eu #informationsystem #duediligence #supplychain

🇬🇧 Following an OPSS investigation, a luxury yacht maker in the UK has been fined for breaching the UK Timber Regulation (UKTR). In response, our CEO and Chairman, Dominic von Trotha Taylor said: “The recent UKTR fine serves as a stark reminder of the importance of robust due diligence in navigating evolving regulatory landscapes such as the UK Timber Regulation (UKTR) and the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR), among others. These frameworks are designed to drive transparency and accountability across supply chains—objectives that are not just regulatory mandates but also ethical imperatives. Businesses today have access to advanced due diligence systems that make it possible to trace materials back to source with confidence. Leveraging these tools can help organisations ensure compliance, meet market expectations, and avoid the financial and reputational risks that come with non-compliance. At a time when supply chain scrutiny is only increasing, adopting these systems isn’t just about avoiding fines; it’s about building a foundation of trust and resilience for the future. The time to act is now.” Read more about the breach here: https://lnkd.in/eUYh8mdf And get in touch to learn how Interu can help you not only meet due diligence requirements to avoid fines, but to also use traceability to your advantage: https://lnkd.in/eqrwjkK4 #traceability #duediligence #UKTR #supplychain #timberlaw #breach #EUDR #regulation
