We are pleased to support our German partner SPIGGLE & THEIS Medizintechnik GmbH at the 23rd Laryngeal Surgery Course at the university hospital in Cologne, Germany. It was an excellent opportunity to have the privilege of teaching participants about Type I Thyroplasty using the APrevent VOIS implant and its standardized surgical technique. 23rd Cologne course on laryngeal surgery 2024! We were delighted to share valuable impressions and constructive discussions at the 23rd International Laryngoplasty Course at Cologne University Hospital. These included augmentation laryngoplasty with autologous fat and artificial fillers. We were able to take the excellent opportunity to teach the participants about type I thyroplasty with the use of the VOIS implant and a standardised surgical technique. Special thanks go to Prof Dr Klußmann and senior consultant Dr Kevin Hansen for making this possible. Further thanks and active support go to Prof.Dr Guan Min Ho and Mark Chang from APrevent, who supported me at the cadaver workshop. Mit großer Freude haben wir wertvolle Einblicke und konstruktive Gespräche auf dem 23. internationalen Kehlkopfkurs der Uniklinik Köln gewinnen können. Unter anderem im Hinblick auf Augmentationslaryngoplastiken mit autologem Fett und künstlichen Fillern. Wir haben die gute Gelegenheit nutzen können, den Teilnehmern die Thyreoplastik Typ I mit dem Einsatz des VOIS-Implantates und einer standardisierter Operationstechnik vermitteln zu können. Mein besonderer Dank gilt an Prof.Dr.Klußmann und Oberarzt Dr. Kevin Hansen, die uns dies ermöglicht haben.
