BUMA responds to the flood, landslide, and strong winds disaster in Sukabumi, West Java (10-17 December 2024). In collaboration with ESDM and other partners, BUMA deployed 3 members of the Emergency Response Team (ERT) and 1 medical staff to assist in evacuation efforts and provided essential supplies to affected communities. Reisa is not just a doctor but also a well-known public health educator who’s passionate about spreading awareness. She’s been working hard to help communities understand the importance of preventive healthcare, especially when it comes to HIV/AIDS. Globally, HIV cases have dropped significantly by 40% since 2010. However, the situation in Indonesia tells a different story. After experiencing a decline in 2020 and 2021, HIV cases reached an all-time high in 2022. This moment serve as a reminder to prioritize health, both for ourselves and our surroundings.
