🔑 The Role of Board and Staff from the Management Perspective! At Governance Live 2024, Chairman of the Belize Coalition of Service Providers Dionne Chamberlain PhD from Belize, highlighted a recurring issue where board members overstep their boundaries, causing confusion and undermining organisational processes. Kamla Rampersad de Silva, CEO of CCGI, further enriched the discussion by emphasising the need for directors and staff to understand their respective roles. Kamla pointed out that misunderstandings often lead to staff making poor decisions due to undue influence from board members. She reminded us that decisions must flow through the executive management team before implementation. 👉 Search Dionne CCGI on YouTube for the full discussion #CCGI #CorporateGovernance #CaribbeanGovernance #effectiveboards #leadership #success #sustainability
