🌟 TrustChain: Breaking Barriers in Healthcare Data Sharing 🌟 We’re thrilled to spotlight our role in the GUEHDS Project (Governance and Trust Gateway for Federated Health Networks in the European Health Data Space) - together with an innovative consortium uniting key players in health and data technology: 🔹 Promptly Health – Leading the federated learning framework. 🔹 Instituto Pedro Nunes – Driving data protection excellence. 🔹 Local Health Units of Coimbra (Centro Hospitalar e Universitário de Coimbra (CHUC) & Santo António (Centro Hospitalar Universitário de Santo António ) – Testing in real-life clinical environments. 🚀 Our mission? develop a technological solution that empowers hospitals, and health systems to securely unlock insights, and share information — all without compromising privacy. Here’s what we’ve achieved so far: 💡 Successfully tested in real-world pilots tackling respiratory infections like RSV, SARS-CoV-2, and influenza with two major academic hospitals. 💡 Demonstrated how secure, federated data sharing fuels real-time collaboration and supports initiatives like the National Observatory for Respiratory Diseases. This aligns closely with our vision to address health data accessibility and utilization challenges, accelerating research and healthcare innovation across the UK, Europe, and beyond. The Health Foundation’s recent survey of over 7,000 individuals across the UK highlights this progress, with 75% expressing willingness to share personal health data for AI-driven healthcare improvements.
