- Avalie o impacto do projeto.

In my experience, I rank tasks based on their importance and urgency. Utilizing prioritization techniques, such as the ABCDE method or the Eisenhower matrix, can be helpful, or you may use task manager apps like a custom proprietary task manager app or Monday.com app. Additionally, if feasible, I consider delegating some tasks to team members. Focusing on one task at a time may yield the best results, and taking the time to double-check your final work can ensure its quality.

When it comes to task management, I always remember what my father taught me: Urgent and priority are not the same thing. We usually have a task management tool to organize our work, but when even that feels overwhelming, I start jotting down everything on sticky notes, categorizing tasks by deadlines. This helps me distinguish between what’s important and what’s urgent. I begin with the smallest urgent task, as completing it gives me a sense of achievement, which motivates me to keep going. Gradually, I work through the tasks, and if there’s any delay, I communicate with the relevant person.

To prioritize urgent design projects without sacrificing quality: Identify Key Priorities: Focus on high-impact, time-sensitive tasks. Break Down Projects: Divide tasks into manageable parts with mini-deadlines. Streamline Reusables: Use templates to save time on basics. Limit Multitasking: Time-block for deep focus on one task at a time. Communicate & Adjust: Set realistic expectations and adjust quickly based on feedback. This approach keeps standards high, even on tight deadlines.

I am very selective with choosing to take a project or not. My first solution to not be swamped is to not take too much. Easy like that. It may sound bland or not be like the super advice some people expect but hey, it works. Learning to say NO and not fear of loosing clients it's the first step of having your quality of life raising and selecting the clients or project who deserve to be on your list. I can guarantee that clients appreciate much more someone who explains them the decline rather than someone who misses deliveries or does a bad work due to the overtaking. You know, selection works both ways: clients select people to work with, you can do the same. Also making sure to have a life and enjoying it after work is important.

To prioritize urgent design tasks without sacrificing quality • Sort tasks by deadline and impact. • Break larger projects into manageable parts. • Communicate with stakeholders about priorities. • Work in focused, uninterrupted blocks. • Delegate or automate simpler tasks where possible. This keeps you efficient and ensures quality results.

In my experience, I’ve noticed a clear, human tendency: the client wants to be consistently informed. Even when a delay was inevitable, nearly every client has been understanding—as long as they were kept informed. This way, I can ensure that quality isn't sacrificed for the sake of speed. There’s also the temptation to prioritize the highest-paying project. However, unless a client has specifically requested priority handling, I find it more effective this approach: 1. Complete the projects I enjoy the most first—these tend to get done the fastest! 😊 2. Prioritize shorter projects since longer timelines are generally harder to justify for quick-turnaround deliverables. 3. Address projects in the order they arrived on my desk.

Working under pressure may seem quite disturbing for many, but when sorted the right way, it can be the most focused deep work you ever do. When high priority projects gets piled up, I usually start with the one that’s easier to finish up, leaving it done gives me a feeling of accomplishment and motivates me to grab the next. The feeling checking of my to do list, gives me more focus rather than juggling between many.

Break it down to a to do list. Understand which tasks are small and fast and which will take longer time. Then understand which tasks other people are dependent on me and can help them continue to work and those i can do fast and help others will be prioritize, and the longer ones will be done afterwards .
