Cutting edge technology is not always the most sustainable solution! Turning to indigenous knowledge and ancient practices often reveals a simpler, more ecologically harmonious approach (and usually more cost-effective). And as a municipal employee I know it will be easier to get a project through the approval process if it incorporates landscape solutions that are tried and true, rather than “cutting edge.”
