Sunrise Valley Science and Technology Park is a non-profit organization, founded in 2003. The Park features long-standing traditions in development of entrepreneurship, promotion of business and science collaboration, provision of infrastructure and other innovation support services to young, innovative enterprises as well as to other knowledge-intensive business. The Park is a perfect place for innovative technological enterprises, enterprising members of universities community and R&D environment, who aim to commercialise their knowledge, establish and develop businesses and expand innovative activity.

  • We are happy to share the first year results of project Seeds of Bravery! 🌟 Since its launch in December 2023, the Seeds of Bravery project has made remarkable strides in fostering innovation and strengthening the tech ecosystem: ✅ Distributed €3.6 million in funding. ✅ Received 980+ proposals, awarded 139 grants to over 110 companies globally. The initiative supports innovation in deep tech, infrastructure, education, healthcare, and agri-food technologies. Seeds of Bravery also provides extensive non-financial support, including: ✔ Deep Tech Incubators & Accelerator Programmes. ✔ Science2Business training for 49 teams. ✔ 227 free tickets to major tech exhibitions. ✔ Market Discovery Workshops across 19 countries. ✔ Free coworking spaces for Ukrainian startups.     🌟Sowing Bravery, Harvesting Success: Seeds of Bravery First-Year results🌟 Since its launch on December 20, 2023, the Seeds of Bravery project has become a driving force in fostering innovation and strengthening the tech ecosystem. Key Numbers: ✅ €3.6 million in funding distributed. ✅ 980+ proposals received, resulting in 139 grants awarded to over 110 companies.   🌍 A Truly Global Reach While most applications came from Ukrainian innovators, we also attracted submissions from Poland, the UK, Germany, Ireland, Spain, Estonia, and beyond, showcasing our international influence. 🦾 Focusing on Key Innovation Sectors Submissions predominantly targeted deep tech, infrastructure, education and science, healthcare/life sciences, and agri-food technologies—aligning perfectly with the initiative’s mission. 💡 Empowering Startups Beyond Funding In addition to its financial grants, the project extends a robust suite of 17 non-financial support activities. Below are the main achievements under these programmes:  ✅ 7 startups completed the Deep Tech Incubators Programme, with 10 more currently in progress. ✅ 19 startups graduated from the Deep Tech Accelerator Programme, including 14 from its inaugural cohort. ✅ 49 teams successfully finished the Science2Business Programme. ✅ 227 free tickets enabled startups to attend 14 major tech exhibitions across Europe. ✅ 163 participants honed their skills at the Investor Literacy Programme for Business Angels. ✅ 12 Market Discovery Workshops covered 19 countries, engaging 790 participants. ✅ 16 coworking spaces in Ukraine and Europe provided free access for Ukrainian startups. ✅ 46 participants from 23 companies attended the Summer School on Entrepreneurship. Seeds of Bravery is driving innovation, empowering startups, and forging connections that transcend borders.   • Together with colleagues from the #Baltic Sea Region, Sunrise Tech Park presented #Bioboosters innovative solutions in the seminar “Unlocking the Potential of Industrial Symbiosis: A Pathway to a Bioeconomy in the Baltic Sea Region” organised by the Ministry of Agriculture in Lithuania and Nordregio. ♻️ 🌱   The seminar highlighted Industrial Symbiosis as a powerful approach to fostering sustainability and resource efficiency, minimizing impact for environment and bringing economic benefits. 🤝 Sunrise Tech Park, together with members of Cleantech Lithuania, participates in the #Bioboosters project, promoting innovative solutions for valorizing biological side streams and transforming waste into value.
