🌟Sowing Bravery, Harvesting Success: Seeds of Bravery First-Year results🌟
Since its launch on December 20, 2023, the Seeds of Bravery project has become a driving force in fostering innovation and strengthening the tech ecosystem.
Key Numbers:
✅ €3.6 million in funding distributed.
✅ 980+ proposals received, resulting in 139 grants awarded to over 110 companies.
🌍 A Truly Global Reach
While most applications came from Ukrainian innovators, we also attracted submissions from Poland, the UK, Germany, Ireland, Spain, Estonia, and beyond, showcasing our international influence.
🦾 Focusing on Key Innovation Sectors
Submissions predominantly targeted deep tech, infrastructure, education and science, healthcare/life sciences, and agri-food technologies—aligning perfectly with the initiative’s mission.
💡 Empowering Startups Beyond Funding
In addition to its financial grants, the project extends a robust suite of 17 non-financial support activities. Below are the main achievements under these programmes:
✅ 7 startups completed the Deep Tech Incubators Programme, with 10 more currently in progress.
✅ 19 startups graduated from the Deep Tech Accelerator Programme, including 14 from its inaugural cohort.
✅ 49 teams successfully finished the Science2Business Programme.
✅ 227 free tickets enabled startups to attend 14 major tech exhibitions across Europe.
✅ 163 participants honed their skills at the Investor Literacy Programme for Business Angels.
✅ 12 Market Discovery Workshops covered 19 countries, engaging 790 participants.
✅ 16 coworking spaces in Ukraine and Europe provided free access for Ukrainian startups.
✅ 46 participants from 23 companies attended the Summer School on Entrepreneurship.
Seeds of Bravery is driving innovation, empowering startups, and forging connections that transcend borders. More than just funding, Seeds of Bravery is about cultivating a dynamic, innovative, and sustainable tech environment that delivers meaningful impact and transformative change 🌟💫
