Cybergizer has decided to join Baltic Ruby 2025 as a key partner and sponsor — again. We were part of it in 2024 and will continue supporting such initiatives because we know how hard it is to get them off the ground. Over the years, we’ve sponsored the Warsaw Ruby Community Conference, Wroclove.rb, Haggis Ruby, Ruby Unconf, and many other local events. Local means good. Local often goes unnoticed, which is why they need support. If you have the opportunity to support Baltic Ruby or any other local Ruby event, just do it. The community will greatly appreciate it.

At least something is starting to happen in the AI community in Vilnius. Despite what's happening globally, here it's relatively quiet. We might even take action ourselves — maybe later. But for now, thanks to the Artificial Intelligence Association of Lithuania for this new season of AI Lithuanian meetups. It was interesting and enjoyable! We even received a gift for asking the best question.

They say that those starting their careers today are in a more vulnerable position. They say juniors are not needed in such a market. They say juniors can easily be replaced by a chatbot. And maybe all of this is at least partially true. But in reality, it means companies need to invest even more in their support, contribute even more to the community, and invest in the future of Ruby. Cybergizer joined Vilnius Ruby Brigade junior meetup at VILNIUS TECH - Vilnius Gediminas Technical University to tell about opportunities that we have created in our internal ecosystem and contribution to the local communities. Hopefully, this will become at least a good start.

It was a very warm and interesting meetup in Bialystok Ruby user group. Thanks Adam Piotrowski for having Cybergizer there. Very cool talks from Piotr Szotkowski, Paweł Kondzior and Sergey Sergyenko. That kind of an oldschool meetup we are all deserving.
