A few months ago, Ilusiona inaugurated its new entertainment center at the Barnasud shopping mall, one of the properties of our Meridia III fund. To celebrate, we organized a team visit to Barnasud, where we enjoyed a very special activity: an exciting bowling game full of laughter and good vibes! We want to thank everyone who participated and helped make this afternoon such a special experience. We look forward to doing it again soon!

At Meridia, we are pleased to announce the upcoming opening of a Normal store in Barnasud, a property of our Meridia III fund. This Danish brand, renowned for its innovative approach and competitive prices, will occupy a 585 m² space, further enhancing the mall’s commercial offering. With additions like this, we continue to establish Barnasud as a commercial benchmark in Gavà Mar.

We are thrilled to announce that Meridia has achieved the highest possible score – 5 stars – across all modules of the UN PRI (Principles for Responsible Investment) reporting! This recognition highlights our unwavering commitment to responsible investment. While our sustainability journey began long ago, we joined the UN PRI over six years ago, further solidifying our dedication to the Principles for Responsible Investment. This year’s results reflect remarkable progress compared to last year, with Meridia standing out among peers for its exceptional performance. We are immensely proud of this achievement, which reflects the dedication and hard work of our team. It reinforces our determination to continue integrating sustainability into everything we do.

We’re thrilled to announce the acquisition of a prime beachfront plot in El Palmar de Vejer (Cadiz), where we will develop a 59-unit glamping resort in partnership with wecamp. Opening in 2026, the resort will feature a 2,100 sqm beach club, delivering a premium lifestyle and F&B experience, and will complement wecamp Cadiz, set to open in 2025. This new acquisition brings our portfolio to 15 glamping sites, reinforcing wecamp’s premium positioning in Southern Spain, one of Europe’s fastest-growing open-air tourism destinations. With access to stunning beaches and world-class watersports activities, we’re creating unforgettable outdoor hospitality experiences. We’re proud to continue redefining outdoor hospitality in Iberia. As part of Meridia Cultura - our latest initiative to inspire cultural engagement and dialogue within our organization - we had the privilege last week to visit Las Tres Chimeneas, an iconic Barcelona landmark and the former Sant Adrià del Besòs thermal power plant. For the first time, this historic site has been opened to the public as part of the Manifesta Biennial.   Las Tres Chimeneas were built in the 70s and are a singular symbol in the world and unique in Catalonia, allowing to link an industrial past with a future of sustainable and balanced progress socially and territorially.   Our visit allowed us to gain a deeper understanding of the site's history and impact while reflecting on its transformation and ongoing relevance in today’s context.   At Meridia, we remain committed to exploring the intersection of heritage, innovation, and sustainability in urban development and integrating these principles into the growth and evolution of our portfolio.
