Yesterday, we had the pleasure of visiting Universidade Lusófona - Centro Universitário Lisboa, where students are embracing innovation by using their student IDs from their ID Wallet provided by INCM Imprensa Nacional - Casa da Moeda to access exclusive benefits such as discounts at the canteen, campus cinema, and services at the veterinary hospital, along with university services. But what truly stood out for us was the opportunity to connect with students and share the excitement that this is more than just a tool for today or limited to campus life—it’s a glimpse into how digital wallets will integrate into daily life very, very soon. #DigitalInnovation #StudentEngagement #UniversityLife #FutureIsNow

A milestone in the EU Digital Identity Wallet project is reached, as the Commission adopts five implementing regulations laying down rules for the core functionalities and certification of the wallets. What a night! ✨ I attended yesterday the ceremony for the XI Prize edition "Mujeres a Seguir" (Women to Follow), where I was honoured to receive the first prize in the Technology category. 🔗 https://lnkd.in/d6wRkkZz It feels a responsibility to be portrayed as a reference for future generations. However, this recognition is not just a personal achievement—it reflects the incredible work of the talented teams I’ve had the privilege to collaborate with. A special thanks to the Gataca team and everyone who has supported and challenged me throughout this journey, including my husband. This milestone reinforces my commitment to advancing a safer and more private Internet for all. I also want to celebrate the outstanding work of Mujeres a Seguir in shining a spotlight on women’s talent across industries. Since inception in 2004, they've honored 96 women, 6 groups, and one man, selected from over 2,000 applications and 440 finalists. As Teresa Viejo and Esther Valdivia aptly said during the ceremony, we look forward to the day when it’s simply about recognizing talented individuals, no matter their gender. Thank you to the entire team. Congratulations to all the finalists and to every woman out there relentlessly pursuing her passion.
