Scheduling 'down time' is a must for me. Otherwise, I tend to take on too much without realizing that I'm starting to drain my own battery. Crowd sourcing efforts or delegating tasks are options which are often overlooked when you are stressed. Spending 30 minutes figuring out how you can utilizing your resources better can in the end save you many hours of work. Also, it is important to still do things outside of work with friends and family. All work and no play doesn't work in the long run.

I know when things are becoming too much when I hear David Byrne singing the line ‘I can feel my lifetime piling up’ in my head. That’s my signal to go and take a walk. Just a quick trip around the block seems to provide a huge amount of clarity, allowing me to face whatever issues are mounting with more clarity. It seems counterintuitive to step away from it all when life is piling up, but it really helps me.

1️⃣ Create Non-Negotiable Routines: I build small, consistent habits into my day, such as morning mindfulness, hydration breaks, or a 10-minute stretch. These habits are sacred, no matter how busy I get. 2️⃣ Shift the Perspective: Instead of viewing self-care as "extra time," I see it as the fuel that powers my productivity. A calm, clear mind helps me make better decisions and manage challenges effectively. 3️⃣ Ask for Support: Delegating and leaning on my trusted team allows me to focus on what truly matters while ensuring I don’t burn out. Entrepreneurship is a team sport—it’s okay to share the load. 4️⃣ Set Boundaries with Urgency: Not all urgent matters are truly critical. I pause, assess, and prioritize, my health and well-being.

I get up, stretch, drink a cup of coffee, and try to observe the sky. I imagine myself seeing the "stressful situation" from above the universe. I do this by practicing long breaths. Then I return to the room. And at night when I get home I practice ballroom dancing. It's fantastic.

Stress & urgency situations are very common and skipping them is not an option. For me when such situation arises, I mostly take a 5 step approach to maintain mind sanity: Step 1) Take a pause and stay calm Step 2) Acknowledge and accept the situation Step 3) Set down the priorities Step 4) Thinking about the solutions Step 5) Start working towards the solution During the process, I keep reminding myself "its just a situation and eventually there will be solution and things will fall in place".

First of all, take breaks! The only way you'll stay in top shape mentally, and physically is by allowing yourself to rest. Without rest, you'll become even more stressed, and that's because you'll eventually get to the point where you're fueled with emotions, and that'll only bring more problems! Also, if you feel stressed at work, leave that environment for a while. The environments we're most exposed to have a certain connection to us. For example, I have a deep connection with nature, as that environment always brings me peace! We all need some of this in our lives in order to feel whole!

Identify what is genuinely urgent and what isn’t. Here are some strategies that have worked for me: Focus on Priorities: Identify the top three to five tasks that truly matter and provide a sense of accomplishment when completed. Communicate Urgency: If things are beyond your control and everything seems like a pressing issue, discuss with your manager as to what should be prioritized Set Boundaries: Protect your time by clearly defining limits and knowing when to disconnect. Define Non-Negotiables: Carve out time for family, fitness, or personal goals—whatever matters most to you. Take Breaks: A simple walk can clear mental blocks, refresh your mind, and boost creativity

When facing intense stress, the first step is to recognize and accept your emotions, whether it’s stress, anxiety, or fear. Ignoring these feelings only adds to the burden. Acknowledge what you’re experiencing and make a conscious decision to prioritize your well-being. Here’s how: • Prioritize tasks and focus on what truly matters. • Stop procrastinating to avoid unnecessary pressure. • Delegate when possible to lighten the load. • Set boundaries and learn to say no. • Ask for help—you don’t have to do it all. • Accept your humanity—you’re not a superhero, and that’s okay. Self-care isn’t selfish; it’s a necessity. By managing your energy and setting limits, you can navigate stress without compromising your well-being.

We are Human beings, it is acceptable that sometimes we let go, we need to accept that ubder all time stress we will end by being burnt out and we will not be able to sustain and work effectively. You need to train yourself when you say "I cant", ask for support and plan proper time for complete shutdown to refresh and return back stronger

I’ve learned that making time for rest and exercise, even during chaos, keeps me grounded. Small, consistent steps really help.
