To meet tight animation deadlines, prioritize tasks, communicate clearly, delegate based on strengths, and use reusable assets. Stay flexible and encourage short breaks to maintain energy and focus.

To meet tight animation deadlines with my team, we first identify the theme and secure approval together. Then, we break the project into smaller tasks, assigning each team member specific scenes to focus on. This allows us to concentrate on the most important parts first while ensuring everyone is aligned and working efficiently. Regular check-ins and open communication help us stay on track and adapt as needed.

Staying on track is so important to maintain balance, so it's always best to 1st prioritize finding your Friends and then Go get a Beer! 🍻

It’s not that difficult to be honest. A lot of pre preparation, working with great set of clients who give you prompt feedback and working with a great team who understands and manages the exigencies is a secret behind managing tougher deadlines. In a nutshell: 1. Prepare in advance 2. Learn the art of anticipated changes and keep those ready as possible solutions. 3. Make clients equally responsible for a great outcome and encourage them to give quick and sharp feedback. 4. Build a team that resonates with this ideology.

I've found that to keep up with animation deadlines, I break projects into smaller tasks and rank the to-do list in order of priority. If you have the foresight to know that the deadline isn't going to be ideal then communicate that clearly to your Project Manager or Line Manager so they can help you manage expectations so that you aren't working under immense pressure. Remember that there is a bigger picture beyond your individual creative flair, you work with a team and you should carry them along.

I never struggle with animation deadlines. Ever. They struggle with me as I round house kick them in the face then pile drive them into the ground.

Some of the strategies I use to stay on track is this: I use the deep work method - I hour of full focus followed by a 20 minutes break but if you can't do this, understand your most active hours and leverage on that. Doing that, you are able to get more work done with a reduced timeframe. Also, be flexible too as situations may arise.

There's a difference between toght deadline and deadline getting tight, balance is the key to this, creativity can take many forms and shapes so it's a matter of how you balance ideas to be equal to the time of execution this simple equation can make time flexible and reduce amount of tension caused by time getting very tight and close to deadline
