This is a quick way to check if there are any discrepancies between known good and possible bad work. You’ll see quickly the difference, if any, exist. Plagiarism is hard to catch, especially in a large pool of students but AI can be used see if there are issues in an essay. Now, if suspicion falls on someone, the best is to talk with colleagues and find what they think. Then, if the suspicion is carried, go further and research the steps of discipline for your institute. Academic fraud is serious but process is key. Interviews with students can be conducted but, the reality rests on paper. Don’t be scared but do it carefully.
