𝗦𝗮𝘃𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻: 𝗔 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗳𝗹𝗮𝘃𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲!🍸🍫 During the holiday season, everyone celebrates the festivities with their country’s traditions. From Christmas yule log to Kentucky Fried Chicken, the celebrations vary a lot depending on which side of the world you live on. 🥂 𝗘𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗰𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗰𝘀: Between the traditional foie gras, turkey, salmon and the famous Yule log with champagne, French households are spending a good amount of time at the table. In Italy, traditions vary depending on the region; some panettone and others eat Gubanna for dessert. In Sweden, the Julbord is the traditional Scandinavian feast cooked for the holidays with Lussekatt & the Christmas Ham (Julskinka). 🍇 𝗧𝘄𝗲𝗹𝘃𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗸𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗺𝗶𝗱𝗻𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁: In Spain, to ensure a lucky upcoming year, Spanish eat 12 grapes, which represent the twelve months of the year. To do so, they have to eat all the grapes the minute before midnight hits on December 31st. 🍖 𝗔𝗳𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗳𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘁: In Ethiopia, Christmas is celebrated on January 7th with doro wat, a spicy chicken stew, and injera, while in South Africa, they are having barbecues as it’s summer during that time of the year. 🍻 𝗠𝗲𝘅𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗳𝗶𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗮: In Mexico, families are going all in to celebrate Christmas properly with Tamales, Mole poblano, Rompope, "Noche Buena" beer and mezcal with piñatas. 🍰 𝗔𝘀𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀: Christmas is not as celebrated in China as in the rest of the world, however, they still elevate their dinners with a twist to their local dish with imported wine. In Japan, families eat Kentucky fried chicken paired with a strawberry shortcake for dessert as their festive dinner. Kerry, a global leader in the dairy industry, is one of the first to launch these solutions. 🤝 𝗖𝘂𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴-𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲 𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: This new lactase technology improves the texture, taste and sweetness of dairy products. Traditional challenges such as maintaining the creamy consistency and keeping the natural flavor that consumers expect to taste while eating dairy is addressed with this lactase solution. 🤩 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗺𝗲𝗿𝘀’ 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱𝘀: The interest for lactose-free options is growing globally, consumers are more health-conscious and are looking for healthier choices. 𝗗𝗶𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄? The European Union is the largest producer among exporters, contributing to 30% of global dairy exports, with France as one of the industry leaders. 🌎 Dairy consumption varies by country or region. The United States and Europe account for 60% of global cheese intake, while China imports over 1 million tons of powdered milk powder and infant formula annually. Due to dietary shifts, Africa reports a significant portion of skimmed milk powder imports. 🐄 Dairy products are 80% consumed domestically, demonstrating regional reliance on local dairy industries. Countries are making an effort to invest in eco-friendly practices and emissions reduction, such as feeding cows fresh grass in Europe and New Zealand.
