We’re excited to continue showcasing our french holiday campaign! Today, let’s put the spotlight on Uncle Eric, the skeptic. 🤨 Friendly as always, but not quite sold on technological innovations. When it comes to electric mobility, he’s quick to focus on the potential inconveniences. 🚗 Not enough charging stations? With as many Electra stations as there are Monoprix stores in France, we’ve got that covered. When Electra is in town, there’s no room for debate. ⚡ Aurelien de Meaux Julien Belliato Ivan D. After Léon Marchand, it’s now the Papamobile’s turn to lead by example! 🚗⚡️ When even the most iconic vehicles go electric, you know change is truly underway. At Electra, we can only applaud those embracing the shift to electric mobility. So, we have a proposal... 👉 Your Holiness, would you accept Electra’s offer of lifetime free charging for the Papamobile? Because sustainable mobility deserves a helping hand... or rather, a helping charge. 😉 Who’s next? 😊 Wink Mercedes-Benz AG https://lnkd.in/eFNFxNS3

🎄 It’s that time of year—family gatherings, festive Christmas dinners, and, of course, some lively debates around the table. With misinformation about electric vehicles still circulating in the media and even at the dinner table, Electra is here to help clear up the myths surrounding electric mobility. What if the best gift 🎁we could give our families this year is setting the record straight about how easy it is to charge electric vehicles? 👏 A big thanks to Agence JEFF! and kids for teaming up with us to make this possible! “Electric cars? Worse for the planet than combustion ones!” 🧐 We continue our W(h)ATT?! series, where we sweep away clichés about electric mobility one by one (spoiler: they don't hold up very long). 🙃 In this second episode, our Chief Development Officer Cédric Herment explains why electric cars are less polluting than combustion-powered cars. 🌱 Cleaner energy mix. 🔋 Battery recycling on the rise. 🌍 Fewer mining materials needed to produce batteries. Simply put: driving electric means limiting noise pollution AND air pollution. And you, what other well-known cliché would you like us to tackle together? Tell us in comment 👇 and see other exclusive episodes on our Instagram 😀 Aurelien de Meaux Julien Belliato Cédric Herment Margot L. Ivan D. Claudia Maurer Formery

☕ If you have 3 minutes, we encourage you to read the recent Les Echos opinion piece by our CEO Aurelien de Meaux 🇪🇺🇫🇷 Electrification is an obvious path forward for Europe—and even more so for France. 1️⃣ Energy drives growth. Countries like the U.S. are leveraging their energy resources for strategic advantage—France can do the same. ⚡ 2️⃣ France is an electricity leader in Europe. This year, 20% of French electricity production was exported, and it remains among the most decarbonized in the world. 🪴 3️⃣ We’re not fully leveraging this strength. Accelerating electrification would benefit the environment and reinforce energy sovereignty. 4️⃣ Electrifying transport is essential. Electricity is much cheaper than oil, and transitioning to electric vehicles could return €22 billion in purchasing power to French households annually. 💰 📣 France has the tools to become a global leader in electrification, alongside countries like Norway. It’s time for all of us—businesses, policymakers, and media—to recognize and act on this opportunity. 🚀

🇧🇪 "From zero to the largest fast-charging network in one year: a public-private partnership that makes all the difference.” Last Thursday, ORES invited Electra to deliver a presentation on Electric Mobility in Belgium. Louis-Charles Mosseray covered the challenges and opportunities of the sector, as well as the collaboration with ORES, who manages the electricity and gas distribution networks in 75% of the municipalities in Wallonia. You can find the key insights in the photos below.👇🏼 ”To build a station, Electra requires land + business case + a grid connection. For that last one, the collaboration with ORES is essential. From the beginning, ORES has dedicated a single point of contact for Electra, with whom we can exchange on a weekly basis to overcome operational challenges, that is part of the difference.” 👏 Kudo’s to ORES for organising such an inspiring evening to explore the synergies of private & public actors shaping the future of sustainable mobility!
