Organize a team meeting where my team members and express their views and concerns. Encouraging everyone to listen actively and respectfully. 2. Identify shared values, focus on the goals everyone agrees on. This will set the ground for future discussions. 3. Create a plan together involve the team in creating a plan for sustainable practices, encouraging inputs from all team members, striving for consensus on key strategies.

Next, take time and learn from both sides as to why they are feeling the way they are feeling about the issue (it's important not to take a side during these steps and to keep an open mind as the leader). From there, you will need to educate both side (i.e., does general education need to be conducted as to why these practices are important, will your team need more training to implement these practices, will this affect their current roles and responsibilities, etc.). From there, you need to make compromises to find the common ground. As a leader, it's important to recognize that things don't change overnight. Take time, listen educate, and slowly implement the changes.

Work to the strengths of the team. One group can identify urgent matters and urgent solutions. The other group can be tasked to look into long term matters and their relative solutions. This way all team members will actively be engaged and involved and feel valued.
