At the Frontend Subteam, our focus is on creating a web-first rocket simulator that lets anyone design, simulate, and test rockets—without writing a single line of code. Powered by the RocketPy library, our goal is to make rocket simulation accessible, intuitive, and user-friendly for engineers, hobbyists, and anyone interested in rocketry—all through your browser. Last year, we ran a pilot test with a select group of engineers and hobbyists to gather feedback and understand what features users want most. Now, we're building the foundation for our simulator and enhancing our API services to provide even more powerful capabilities. We’re focusing on building Jarvis—a system that will include integrated version control for designs, liquid and hybrid motor support, Google Earth exports, and more. We’re using industry-leading technologies like Next.js and FastAPI to make sure our solution is cutting-edge and scalable. But the Frontend Subteam isn’t just about coding. We’re also responsible for defining new features, addressing business requirements, testing, deployments, and ensuring the app is reliable and available to users around the world.
