When Work Feels Like an Expedition While most people head south for the sun and sea, we go for what’s beneath — the underwater world. These days, Olib and Premuda are our office, and our mission is clear: underwater inspections for subsea asset owners. The result? Crystal-clear, georeferenced digital twins that leave no room for guesswork. Cutting-edge technology is essential, but without our skilled team and custom-built methodology, even the best gear wouldn’t be enough. In the field, everything runs like clockwork: precise, fast, and efficient. While the tech does its part, our team does what it does best — pushing every task to its full potential. And honestly, with a “workplace” like this, who’s complaining? The most beautiful office in the world? Maybe. The best results? Definitely. When results matter, clients know who to call.📳 #underwaterinspection #underwatersurvey #marinetechnology #vectrino

Got 4 minutes? We promise it’ll be worth it. 🍿 Discover the full scope of our work in Crikvenica. ✅ 800+ meters of underwater vertical walls and varying depths—surveyed with absolute precision. ✅ 3,400m² of sea area virtually drained, producing highly accurate underwater digital twins of submerged assets. How did we do it? By leveraging high-accuracy data collection methodologies, advanced technologies, and digital twin modeling. The data was integrated into Cesium for precise 3D geospatial modeling and brought to life in Unreal Engine with stunning, immersive detail. The result? Georeferenced, distortion-free, and perfectly measurable digital twins. This isn’t just about technology—it’s about transforming complex underwater environments into clear, reliable insights. Watch the video to see how we brought Crikvenica’s underwater world to life with precision, expertise, and cutting-edge innovation—no magic, just results. Because, every detail shapes the bigger picture. #didgitaltwin #3Dmodel #unrealengine #underwatertechnology

  • We recently had the pleasure of hosting the outstanding graduates from the University of Rijeka’s Faculty of Civil Engineering at our office. This visit was a follow-up to the inaugural "Raoul Valčić" Award, which we created to recognize exceptional academic achievements in civil engineering. As the initiators of this award, we work closely with the Faculty of Civil Engineering at the University of Rijeka. The "Raoul Valčić" Award honors excellence in Hydraulic Engineering and is part of a broader initiative celebrating top theses across five key areas of civil engineering: Geotechnics, Structural Engineering, Hydraulic Engineering, Transportation Engineering, and Construction Management. Each award is named after a notable figure who has made a significant impact in their field. In June, we had the honor of presenting the "Raoul Valčić" Award for the best theses in Hydraulic Engineering. During their recent visit, we had the opportunity to meet with the award recipients, introduce them to our company, share insights about Raoul Valčić’s contributions, and learn more about their professional goals. We are proud to support these young engineers as they start their careers and follow in the footsteps of the esteemed professionals whose legacies continue to inspire and guide the next generation. Thank you Nikola Šuput, Monika Perić and Magdalena Zec, for visiting us.

  • After one of our posts, the LinkedIn community responded with immense interest in our technology and methodology. We thank everyone for their inquiries and patience. We have conducted numerous presentations with potential international clients and partners. Additionally, this is a period when our teams are continuously in the field, carrying out various types of activities: from standard data collection and processing to various inspections and monitoring. UOne such project is the collection of underwater samples, like the one in the video. Each task requires different equipment and ways of using it to meet the clients' needs. The equipment is a key tool; however, the outcome always depends on the methodology. Therefore, it is important to have a thorough understanding of the technology, adapt all tools for the most efficient fieldwork, and possess significant experience. A rich portfolio, from which the best results emerge, can then be applied to different areas, enabling the successful achievement of goals. This has been reinforced through our discussions and negotiations with international partners. The extensive number of projects we have successfully completed stands as a testament to the efficiency and effectiveness of our methodology. #vectrino #underwaterexploration

This time, we’re in Miami with our partners, attending the prestigious “Seatrade Cruise Global” event. Seatrade Cruise It serves as a comprehensive platform for the cruise industry, offering insights into various facets of the business, from port and destination developments to sustainability initiatives and cost-effective strategies. With numerous port authority representatives, including those from Croatia, in attendance, it’s an essential networking opportunity. Proudly showcasing the innovative solutions of the Port Authorities of Rijeka, Zadar, and Šibenik at their joint booth, we highlight our collaborative efforts in shaping the future of the industry. . . . #seatradecruiseglobal #seatradecruise2024 #maritimeindustry #gaussiansplatting

  • Ever wondered how to stay ahead of the curve with 'time-shift' inspections? Let's dive deep into the essential techniques reshaping underwater maintenance. What are 'time-shift' inspections? How to conduct underwater 'time-shift' inspections? Why are they important and what are the benefits? Today, we're addressing these three questions. Time-shift inspections are essential for modern asset management that relies on real data and the actual condition of underwater assets. With the advancement of technology, the paradigm has shifted, making it riskier not to perform regular inspections but to conduct them continuously. Digital models enable data overlays, allowing us to precisely monitor changes in underwater infrastructure and how external influences impact them at any given moment. All changes are georeferenced and clearly visible. Based on this data, maintenance, upgrade, or construction plans are precise and grounded in real information. There are two prerequisites for achieving such outcomes. ✖️Mastering Camera Operations: Understanding how cameras function underwater and their interaction with light is crucial. This knowledge enables the creation of accurate 3D models or digital twins mirroring the real infrastructure. ✖️Ensuring Effective Execution: There are two approaches to ensure success. First, learn effective inspection methods (such as underwater imaging) and outsource data processing and model issuance. Alternatively, master the entire process independently from start to finish. Contact us to learn more about how our expertise can benefit your projects.

Island of Rab. Inspecting and documenting the underwater coastal wall for a client. Just another day on the job, but these locations we work at are truly unique. Thanks to tech advancements, these surveys aren't risky or exhausting anymore. What's the key? Understanding the gear and process inside out for exceptional results. Can't do without it. Our constant data gathering across different sites has fine-tuned this process down to a two-person operation, armed with a simple protocol and a tool specially tailored for it. All the challenging and complex aspects of this type of inspection? Sorted. Our vast experience brings unique insights and answers. That's how our digital models, regardless of the terrain, its quirks, or proportions, are truly identical digital replicas of the underwater infrastructure. It's the only way to ensure the job is done right from start to finish. #underwatertechnology #marinetechnology #maritimeinnovation #underwaterinspection
