⚽ Analysing Sprint Profiles in Football ⚽ Sprinting in football isn’t just about how far or how fast a player runs—it’s about when and why those high-speed efforts happen. In his latest blog, Marko Matušinskij analyses GPS data from two players with similar sprint volumes and total distances but very different profiles. One player engaged in intense, sustained efforts followed by longer recovery periods, while the other performed shorter, more frequent sprints with consistent recovery times. These differences highlight how tactical roles influence sprint demands and recovery patterns. By analyzing sprint-to-recovery ratios and acceleration profiles, coaches can create training sessions that better simulate match demands and improve player performance. 📖 Check out the blog to learn more about how frequency analysis can refine periodization strategies: https://lnkd.in/dr9K-bKr

Mentorship kick-off! 💪 There was great energy at our first workshop in Revolution Gym. We officially started the program with the Assessment Module, diving into movement analysis, range of motion, and power and strength tests tailored for various environments. Participants also explored the use of VALD equipment for performance and rehabilitation. Next week, we're continuing with the program as we transition into the Monitoring Module. We're excited to see the progress and keep the momentum going! Follow us for more updates and insights!
