The Asian Oceanian Society of Radiology (AOSR) is a professional non-profit organization made up primarily of radiological society members. Individual and Supporting members are the other categories of membership. The objectives of the AOSR are: • To stimulate basic and clinical research to advance the development of radiology that would enable delivery of safe and equitable health outcomes to the patients in the Asia – Oceania region. • To improve the quality and technique of radiological procedures and to improve members’ skills in this respect • To stimulate interest in and to provide guidelines for the practice, teaching and post-graduate training in radiology • To facilitate the exchange of scientific information • Organization, administration, and promotion of the Asian Oceanian School of Radiology • To achieve the above-mentioned objectives, the AOSR may organize congresses, courses, lectures and co-operate with other scientific organizations. The Asian Oceanian Congress of Radiology (AOCR) is one of the congresses of the AOSR. • To foster relationship with governments, health organizations, legislative bodies, health ministries and related bodies including vendors to improve public healthcare delivery AOSR celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2021 with the publication of the AOSR 50th Anniversary 1971-2021. The #AOSR-#RSNA joint symposium on "Acute Abdomen" was held on Dec 4, 2024. Jointly moderated by Judy Yee, MD, FACR representing the RSNA and Dinesh Varma, FRANCZR representing the AOSR. It was very good attendance for an afternoon track on Day 4 of the #RSNA2024. Thank you to our speakers and moderators. Tips tricks pearls were shared for imaging of acute GI bleed, right lower quadrant acute abdominal pain, traumatic acute abdomen and MRI in abdominal emergencies. (This track was also conducted at the #AOCR2024 at Taipei, in March 2024.) The AOSR immediate past president and the honorary secretary were there to support the event. Judy Yee, MD, FACR Kevin J.
