Our service offering is based on flexible client tailormade solutions, and the successful incumbent will be required to showcase its strategic, analytical, business, and commercial acumen attributes. Title: Associate Legal Consultant Nature: Permanent or Contract Salary and Benefits: TBD and dependent on experience and to be discussed and negotiated with successful candidates. Location: Pretoria (Irene), South Africa (flexible work from home arrangements to be negotiated) Description and Responsibilities: - Drafting and reviewing of enquiry and tender documents. - Drafting, reviewing, and negotiation of Contracts. - Claims and contract management and dispute resolution. - Negotiation and settlement of disputes. - Industry specific knowledge of Contracts such as NEC, GCC, JBCC and FIDIC. - Commercial and general transactional experience. Requirements: - Law Degree and Admitted Attorney (preferably) - Strong academic background and experience from leading organization or law firm within construction and mining industry. - Relationship focused and good communication skills. - Experience in both front- and back-end construction contract negotiations and disputes.
