The South African Institute of Taxation (SAIT) is a recognised professional body focusing solely on taxation.
About us
The South African Institute of Taxation (SAIT) is the only professional body in South Africa primarily dedicated to taxation. SAIT is both a regulator of registered tax practitioners (being a recognised controlling body under the jurisdiction of the South African Revenue Service) and the sole professional body promoting tax as a distinct profession. SAIT has more SARS registered tax practitioners in its ranks of members than any other professional body. SAIT also provides a variety of services in support of its members, including webinars, publications, research tools and professional indemnity insurance. SAIT regularly facilitates tax practitioner / taxpayer policy engagement with National Treasury and operational engagement with the South African Revenue Service.
