  • 🌟 A Grade 7 Adventure to Remember 🌟 Our incredible Grade 7s embarked on a camp they'll never forget—a celebration of courage, connection, and adventure as they prepare to step into high school. From soaring through the treetops on a zipline to walking alongside majestic elephants and paddling together down the Breede River, these experiences were more than just fun. They taught teamwork, resilience, and the power of stepping out of their comfort zones. As we watched them conquer challenges and support each other, it was clear: these young leaders are ready to take on the next chapter of their journey with confidence and courage! 🎒✨ #Inspiration #Grade7Camp #Adventure #Teamwork #FutureLeaders

  • We're thrilled to announce the official opening of the Denise Erasmus Clubhouse & Pavilion! We celebrated the grand opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony honouring our beloved former principal, Denise Erasmus. Mrs. Erasmus was present to share inspiring words and officially cut the ribbon. We're so grateful for Mrs. Erasmus's dedication and contributions to our school community. This clubhouse is a testament to her legacy and will serve as a gathering place for students and staff for years to come.

  • 🏆Celebrating SEA’s evaluation at Llandudno Primary School! 🏆 Earlier this year, our school was evaluated by the School Evaluation Authority (SEA), and we were proud to have achieved Outstanding Ratings in the categories of Learner Achievement, Behaviour and Safety, Governance, and Parents and Community, along with Good Ratings in Teaching and Learning and Leadership and Management. At the recent SEA Recognition Event in Bellville, our Principal, Mr. Molteno, and Deputy Principal, Mr. Myburgh, proudly accepted the certificate on behalf of our entire school community. A special moment during the event came when Mr. David Millar, SEA Chief Evaluator, shared that our overall rating was "just a whisker away" from being Outstanding. He also noted that our Leadership and Management rating in particular was in his opinion Outstanding—an opinion we fully intend to confirm to when the SEA returns within the next 24 months. We were also deeply moved by the praise from Ms. Fadia Hassiem, who led our evaluation. She was struck by the "overwhelmingly positive environment" at Llandudno Primary School—a testament to the dedication of our staff, learners, and supportive parents. This achievement is a reflection of our collective efforts to foster excellence, inclusivity, and a love for learning. As we celebrate this milestone, we remain committed to continuing our journey of improvement and striving for even greater heights. Thank you to everyone who makes Llandudno Primary School the amazing place it is. Together, we are unstoppable.

  • On Saturday, 12 October, Llandudno Primary School hosted the inaugural Kunye Choir Festival, uniting 225 choir members from five local schools in Hout Bay. The festival featured the introduction of the upcoming Kunye Foundation aiming to support disadvantaged learners at Llandudno Primary. Attendees were treated to captivating performances by students from Disa Primary School, Kronendal Primary School, Hout Bay International School, Oranjekloof Moravian Primary School, and Llandudno Primary School. Songs ranged from classics like "Pata Pata" by Miriam Makeba to "Man in the Mirror," culminating in a powerful joint rendition of "This Is Me" by the Kunye Choir, embodying togetherness. A huge thank you to SPAR Hout Bay for their generous donation of a snack pack for every learner who participated! We are especially grateful to Mr. Simon van Nimwegen, the owner of this SPAR, for attending the festival himself and showing his support. We believe this festival marks a significant moment for Hout Bay, demonstrating how music and education can bridge communities and foster unity! #KunyeChoirFestival #HoutBay #CommunityUnity #MusicBringsUsTogether #LlandudnoPrimary #sparhoutbay
