The Association of Business Service Leaders in Bosnia and Herzegovina (ABSL) is the leading organization representing the business services sector, gathering high profile companies which conduct business in the area of Shared Services Center (SSC), Business Process Outsourcing (BPO), Information Technology Outsourcing (ITO), Research and Development (R&D). Given the current business, economic & political opportunities, this sector in particular can propel and position Bosnia and Herzegovina to be the global leader. Thus, at the current growth rate, this industry is on its way to become the country’s largest source of private-sector jobs. ABSL is a unique organization, united by the vision of building a competitive business services industry. We inspire, we share knowledge, and we join our members’ experiences to be stronger together for the industry’s development. In the past two years our GBS Networking event serves as the perfect occasion to show our appreciation for great contributions to the business services sector and the ABSL Community. By these we honour companies and leaders for their exceptional work and effort to develop our community. This year, we awarded Veljko Petrovic and Transcom for being our trusted partners from the day they arrived in our region. ABSL GBS NETWORKING EVENT 2024 The GBS Networking Event on December 12th marked the conclusion to an exceptional year for ABSL BiH, bringing together mentors, mentees, and partners, connected via our collaboration with the USAID Diaspora Invest Project. This gathering celebrated the outcomes of our 4 mentoring programs with Diaspora Experts, which have connected local companies with global expertise. We highlighted our achievements across 18 events, 7 ABSL Clubs, and initiatives like the GBS Career Day at International Burch University. The event also featured the unveiling of the ABSL BiH Country Report 2024. This final event not only reflected on 2024’s accomplishments but also set the stage for even better stories that we will continue to write with our members and partnes in 2025!

Asocijacija Poslovnih Servis Lidera (ABSL) i JU Zavod za zapošljavanje Republike Srpske u Bosni i Hercegovini, u partnerstvu sa RECONOMY programom, sarađivaće intenzivnije u cilju obezbjeđivanja što kvalitetnije radne snage za sektor poslovnih servisa i smanjenje nezaposlenosti. U tom cilju iz Zavoda su najavili izmjene koje će olakšati saradnju u posredovanju između poslodovaca i nezaposlenih. Na radionici su učestvovali predstavnici kompanija članica ABSL-a u BiH: Concentrix, DDC MLS, Manpower Bosnia and Herzegovina i Transcom. Realizacija radionica podržana je od strane RECONOMY programa. RECONOMY je inkluzivni i zeleni program ekonomskog razvoja Švedske agencije za međunarodnu razvojnu saradnju (Sida), koji implementira HELVETAS Swiss Intercooperation u zemljama Istočnog partnerstva i Zapadnog Balkana.
