Last week, Defense Intelligence of Ukraine reported a successful missile strike on a russian headquarters in the temporarily occupied Zaporizhzhia region. Six enemy combatants were eliminated, and three more were injured. This operation was supported by Skyeton’s Raybird UAV, which provided reconnaissance and precise targeting, demonstrating its indispensable role in defending Ukraine.

This past weekend, Skyeton had the pleasure of being a partner and supporter of the Happy New Fear Hackathon, organized by the BRAVE1 defense tech cluster. Over 200 Ukrainian innovators worked on solutions in strategic intelligence, targeting, and remote mining, proving once again that Ukraine is a global leader in defense innovation. On December 14, a multi-stage special operation carried out by Ukraine's Security Service, Defense Intelligence, Special Operations Forces, and the Armed Forces resulted in the destruction of a russian train carrying 40 fuel tankers in Zaporizhzhia Oblast. At the heart of this operation was Skyeton's ACS-3 / Raybird, a long-endurance UAV that provided targeting data for HIMARS strikes, ensuring precision and effectiveness. Congratulations to the winners of the IV National Engineering Hackathon SmaRTF! Skyeton is proud to have been the general partner of this initiative by Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, where young innovators showcased their smart solutions for military electronics — vital to strengthening Ukraine’s defense capabilities. The winning teams: - ProGachi – CamCodec (Radio Engineering Faculty, KPI) - Pugach – Video Transmission Spoofing System (UCU Business School graduates) - OneBit – EyeInterceptor: Automatic FPV signal detector (Instrumentation Faculty, KPI) The finals gathered Ukraine’s bright young minds who created functional prototypes solving real-world defense challenges. We had Igor Ocheretianko, Skyeton’s representative, on the judging panel to evaluate the projects. Witnessing such talent and innovation fills us with optimism for the future of Ukraine’s defense and aviation industries.
