In case you missed it, a new scientific paper in the Sustainability Journal highlights the urgent need for the tourism industry to shift from sustainability to regeneration. Authors Professor Carlos Duarte of KAUST (King Abdullah University of Science and Technology), Aradhana Khowala of Aptamind Partners, and experts from our team define #RegenerativeTourism as a model that doesn’t just minimize harm but actively improves destinations #ForPeopleAndPlanet. Professor Duarte explains: “Regenerative tourism is not just about protecting nature – it’s about building long-term business resilience.” As long-time partners, KAUST’s collaboration with our team is essential to ensure we develop responsibly and leave the Red Sea coast better than we found it. Professor Duarte’s expertise in marine ecology has been pivotal in shaping our regenerative approach. Learn more: https://lnkd.in/eDqJgNZw Maryam Ficociello Rebecca Cousins Ivor Williams

We’re thinking naturally to help green the desert. 🌍 Our innovative approach to wastewater treatment, through natural constructed wetlands, is part of our work for land restoration, sustainable water management, and habitat creation. We're reusing this treated water for irrigation across The Red Sea destination. 🌱 As #COP16 unfolds, we’re proud to align with the Saudi Green Initiative, showcasing how regenerative solutions can address land degradation and protect our natural world for generations to come. #ForPeopleAndPlanet
