Proud to be one of Canada's Top 50 IT Solution Providers, focused on Western Canada and serving North America.

About us

WBM Technologies LP (WBM) is a Western Canadian leader in the provision of outcomes-driven information technology solutions. WBM provides business solutions through four core IT Solutions areas: Data & Security, End User Computing, Managed Print Solutions, and Enterprise Service Desk.  Established May 1, 1950, WBM operates from Infrastructure Operation Centers located in Vancouver, Calgary, Regina, Saskatoon, and Winnipeg.  We employ a rapidly growing team of over 600 IT professionals across Canada who are motivated to make a difference with our clients through the results we achieve together. We need to look no further than our decades-long heritage in Western Canada to know that the solutions we provide today are not the same as those we were providing yesterday, and they will be different again as we look to the future. What must remain consistent however, is our understanding and our commitment to our clients. As long as we are in alignment with the Strategic Objectives of our client community, we will be a healthy and growing partner to our customers. While our own evolution and the ongoing advances of our technologies have brought many innovations and successes throughout our heritage, our vision remains the same: To revolutionize corporate information technologies, and to bring new efficiencies and results to each of our clients, just as we did back when it all started in 1950.

  • This month, we are honoured to support The Brenda Strafford Foundation Heart Home Network, whose mission is to provide a safe haven and essential resources to women and children leaving abuse and violence. Our Calgary team had the privilege of supporting their annual Toy Mountain Holiday Toy Drive by providing and wrapping over 100 gifts, ensuring every child received something special this holiday season. Thank you to the Heart Home Network for trusting us as a partner in your mission. We are honoured to play a small part in the meaningful work you do for Calgary and the surrounding communities. • This month, we are highlighting some of the community organizations that are making a difference in the communities where we live and work.   Our Calgary team had the opportunity to volunteer with the Heart Home Network, part of The Brenda Strafford Foundation, by baking and decorating cookies for the families they support. Over 40 moms and kids joined the festive fun with our team and Buddy—one of Calgary’s Pet Analysts.    The Heart Home Network provides safe housing and essential support services to people at risk of family violence, helping them transition to stable lives free from abuse. We were first introduced to this organization through PrinterWorks West, and it’s been an honour to continue this partnership and support their important work in the Calgary area.   To learn more about the organizations we support and how we’re working toward our March to a Million goal, read our 2024 Community Impact Report here: https://lnkd.in/gqBUm4PF

  • This month, we are highlighting some of the community organizations that are making a difference in the communities where we live and work. We are proud to support Heart Linked in their mission to build relationships and nourish the hearts of girls living in remote northern communities. In places like La Ronge and Pinehouse, where the need for mental health and wellness programs is high, but resources are limited, HeartLinked is making a meaningful difference. In the past we have provided them with Technology Connection Kits, allowing these communities to offer virtual programming, connecting girls to critical resources and unique speakers, and fostering community through initiatives like virtual beading classes. We’re grateful to play a small part in their journey and look forward to supporting Heart Linked in new and exciting ways in 2025. • This month, we are highlighting some of the organizations that are making a difference in the communities where we live and work. Our Vancouver team recently had the opportunity to assemble grab bags for families staying at the Ronald McDonald House (RMH) facility in Vancouver, one of the largest in Canada. The RMH serves up to 2,000 families annually, providing comfort, healing, and a home away from home for kids and families. Our team had a great time visiting this critical facility and seeing the impact RMH has on communities across BC and Yukon. • At WBM, we believe in giving back to the communities where we live and work. We have had the privilege to work with some exceptional organizations across Western Canada that we are proud to call partners. Whether it’s through volunteering our time, providing in-kind donations, or collaborating on impactful initiatives, we’re committed to making a difference together.   One of our longest-standing partnerships is with Vincent Massey School in Saskatoon. Over the years, we have had the privilege of supporting them in some unforgettable experiences, including field trips, lunches, and many Round Dances.   Today, on #GivingTuesday, we were honoured to help with their Holiday Lunch—a tradition we’ve been part of for over 27 years. Supporting Vincent Massey School reminds us how much we can learn from these students and educators shaping a brighter future in Saskatoon.   To learn more about our partnership with Vincent Massey School, visit our 2024 Community Impact Report: https://lnkd.in/gqBUm4PF

  • Last Thursday, our team, alongside members of our client community, attended Making Changes Association's Taste of Confidence event in Calgary. This event supports both Making Changes and Dress for Success Calgary, helping women gain the resources, skills, and confidence they need to succeed in their education and employment journeys. It was a great evening dedicated to empowering women and supporting the important work these organizations make in driving change in our communities.

  • Our team was privileged to support The Brenda Strafford Foundation’s skill-building program by sharing insights on Microsoft Office basics and foundational technology skills. We are grateful for the opportunity to support such an exceptional organization in the Calgary area.   Thank you for having us!

On this #ThankfulThursday, we would like to say a big thank you to WBM Technologies for their incredible generosity and support! In October, Clara from WBM’s Technology Experience & Enablement team shared her time and talent with our clients at Heart Home Network, teaching "Technology 101" as part of our skill-building program. Through lessons on computer basics, Microsoft Office, and more, Clara’s sessions provided practical skills for our clients. Thank you Clara and WBM Technologies! #HeartHomeNetwork #CommunitySupport #YYC
