The best team wins. We are thrilled to welcome Douglas Bryant to our board. Doug joins us after a storied career at companies like Abbott, Luminex, and leading Quidel for 15 years. His strategic insights, extensive network, and industry wisdom have already proven invaluable to our team. Doug will join our existing independent Board of Director members Matt Posard, who held executive roles with several high growth companies including Illumina and Biosite, and Dr. Marcia Eisenberg, Chief Science Officer and a veteran of LabCorp for more than 25 years. https://lnkd.in/gPkpe2A9

Partner @ The Mullings Group, Board Member, "24 in '24 Top Voices in Med Tech (MD+DI)", Host of The Bleeding Edge of Digital Health Podcast

"Enabling, what we call real time medicine in every primary care practice" That's the use case or problem set that Vasu Nadella (CEO & Co Founder of Vital Bio) and his team are trying to solve for. It's an admirable one. But, how they came about this may be the "secret sauce" in this company's long term success. Long before they ever had a product vision, design, or prototype...they studied, in detail the primary care setting. "Spending time with physicians, watching work flows. Everything from super high end, marble everywhere...concierge medicine, to some clinics where there are security guards and you have to get buzzed in just to get into the building". Far too often Founders have a great product "idea" and rushed to build it before strongly considering if it solves a real problem within todays healthcare environ. If you have had blood work done lately, you are likely oh too familiar with the obvious, and significant gaps in care. With their initial product (VitalOne),Vital Bio hopes to accomplish the following: "A hyper productive visit, where Physicians can move through that treatment, diagnosis, and ultimately payment workflow, in a single visit." Backing into the product concept, based on needs identification is a brilliant innovation strategy to ensure strong PMF (Product Market Fit). Episode 38 of The Bleeding Edge of Digital Health Podcast is now up live on all the major podcast directories, as well as on our YouTube page (links in comments) In this episode Vasu and I discuss the above use case, design of the product (it's the sexiest product I have seen in some time in Med Tech), regulatory status and burden, commercial timeline and much, much more. #diagnostics #labequipment #digitalhealth #medtech #medicaldevice #medicaldevices

  • Behind the scenes. For the past few months we’ve been quietly hosting a handful of demos of the VitalOne. Our demos to clinical partners and healthcare providers honor our core values of trust and transparency. There is no better validation for our team than seeing the excitement that healthcare providers place in the VitalOne after seeing a demo. Stay tuned for more demos throughout 2024 to showcase the incredible technology our team has delivered that will make a difference for healthcare providers and the patients they serve. 📍 Next stop: JPM 2024. #jpm2024
