Together, we challenge the limits of what is possible with compassion, excellence and courage.

About us

Trillium Health Partners is a leading hospital with an outstanding record of performance, fiscal responsibility and quality patient care. The hospital encompasses three main sites – Credit Valley Hospital, Mississauga Hospital and Queensway Health Centre – offering the full range of acute care hospital services, as well as a variety of community-based, specialized programs. Our intention is to achieve the highest quality of care that is easily accessible for our community, at the lowest cost. We are committed to creating an exceptional experience for everyone who walks through our doors. As our diverse community continues to grow and age, and as more people are living with chronic diseases, we’re taking into account the inevitable changes on the horizon. We know that to continue to deliver exceptional patient care, we must think and act differently, and take a new and innovative approach to the delivery of health care. We envision a new kind of health care for a healthier community – an inter-connected system of care that is organized around the patient, both inside the hospital and beyond its walls. Through partnership, working in a coordinated way across the system, we can meet the needs of our patients and continue to provide outstanding, sustainable quality patient care. As partners in creating a new kind of health care, we are Better Together.

  • Wishing you a joyful holiday season and a New Year filled with health and happiness! As we look ahead to 2025, we reflect on the milestones and achievements of 2024. Our Year in Review video highlights the progress we've made and the profound impact of Team THP and the THP Community’s collective efforts. Together, we removed barriers to care, strengthened collaborations, and improved outcomes for our patients and community. Your teamwork, generosity, and partnership have been vital to our success in building a new kind of healthcare. Take a moment to watch the video and celebrate the difference we’ve made together.

  • You’re an older adult living alone and managing quite well when one day you take a nasty fall. When the pain in your shoulder and arm isn’t going away and is making it impossible to do your daily tasks, you visit your local Emergency Department at Trillium Health Partners. It turns out you dislocated your shoulder and broke your collar bone in the fall. The hospital care team works together to determine a care plan and you’re happy to hear that with the right kind of support and care at home, you won’t need to be admitted to hospital and can recover at home. Enter THP@home. Offered in partnership with CANES Community Care, THP@home is a service that helps patients get home from the hospital sooner and receive the right care in their home or in the community. Dedicated teams work to ensure that every THP@home patient feels supported and is guided through the transition from hospital to home with the right reassurance, resources and care, so patients and their families can feel confident in their next steps. THP@home is a testament to the strength of collaboration, innovation and care that goes beyond our hospital walls and helps create a new kind of healthcare for a healthier community. As we celebrate the two-year anniversary of THP@home, we look back on the hundreds of lives touched so far and look forward to many more anniversaries in the years to come. Congratulations!

  • The National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women is a day to honour the memory of the 14 young women who tragically lost their lives at École Polytechnique in 1989. Today we are reminded of the ongoing work needed to end gender-based violence in all its forms. Let us pause to reflect, remember, and take action as we work to foster safe and inclusive spaces for everyone in our community. Together, we can break the cycle of violence and build a future rooted in equity, compassion, and respect. If you are currently experiencing intimate partner violence (IPV), please consider reaching out to Trillium Health Partner’s Chantel's Place for support at 905-848-7580 ext. 2548. Community resources can also be found through the Safe Centre of Peel: https://scopeel.org/ For more information on intimate partner violence, visit Family and intimate partner violence: https://lnkd.in/gwA6pKgT

  • We’re excited to share that Trillium Health Partners has returned from the Canadian Stroke Congress 2024 in Calgary, AB, with the Stroke Distinction Award from Accreditation Canada! Developed by Accreditation Canada in collaboration with the Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Stroke Distinction Award sets the bar for acute stroke services, inpatient rehabilitation, and a comprehensive system of care for those with lived experience of stroke. The Canadian Stroke Congress remains a uniquely Canadian platform, bringing together researchers, clinicians, allied health professionals, policymakers, and individuals with lived experience to share discoveries, advance therapies, and foster collaboration. Congratulations to everyone who contributed to achieving this milestone—your dedication to improving patient outcomes inspires us all.

Yesterday, CAN Health Network Founder and Chair, Dr. Dante Morra, had the opportunity to deliver a keynote address and participate in a panel discussion at Economic Club of Canada's Health Care Summit. How does Canada lead the new health care economy? Working together, we need to support the adoption of homegrown technology to modernize care, create jobs, drive economic growth, and ensure a better and healthier future for all Canadians. We need to think about the critical intersection of health, wealth, and technology. The CAN Health Network is doing this. Thank you Economic Club of Canada for having us. Let’s keep the conversation going. Mark Smithyes, MBA Brigitte Nolet Jason Grier Victor Fedeli
