About us
Trillium Health Partners is a leading hospital with an outstanding record of performance, fiscal responsibility and quality patient care. The hospital encompasses three main sites – Credit Valley Hospital, Mississauga Hospital and Queensway Health Centre – offering the full range of acute care hospital services, as well as a variety of community-based, specialized programs. Our intention is to achieve the highest quality of care that is easily accessible for our community, at the lowest cost. We are committed to creating an exceptional experience for everyone who walks through our doors. As our diverse community continues to grow and age, and as more people are living with chronic diseases, we’re taking into account the inevitable changes on the horizon. We know that to continue to deliver exceptional patient care, we must think and act differently, and take a new and innovative approach to the delivery of health care. We envision a new kind of health care for a healthier community – an inter-connected system of care that is organized around the patient, both inside the hospital and beyond its walls. Through partnership, working in a coordinated way across the system, we can meet the needs of our patients and continue to provide outstanding, sustainable quality patient care. As partners in creating a new kind of health care, we are Better Together.

As part of Trillium HealthWorks, we are expanding the Queensway Health Centre to include a modern facility dedicated to complex care and rehabilitation services. This December, Nurse Practitioner Bonnie brought her passion for music and patient care together in a heartfelt performance for the Senior’s Care Unit (SCU) at Trillium Health Partners' Mississauga Hospital. A dedicated team member since 1988, Bonnie partnered with her friend Kathryn, both members of The Burlington Garden City Orchestra, to perform holiday classics and create a joyful atmosphere filled with comfort and connection for SCU staff and patients.🎶 “I wanted to bring a little bit of joy to patients who may be admitted over Christmas and the holidays," Bonnie warmly shares. "Music is very therapeutic for our patients as a majority of our patients have dementia or some form of cognitive impairment. Music therapy can have a positive impact, enhancing quality of life for both patients and caregivers. I felt this would be beautiful and that they would enjoy it." As a Recreation Therapist on the SCU, Natalie uses music to guide her therapy with the patients. “Music is so important, especially with our population. We have a lot of patients with dementia, but something like music, that's something they always end up remembering,” Natalie says. “It's amazing how music can spark memories, even with patients who have communication barriers. It's a beautiful reminder of how the brain works and how music can bring people together. Many of our patients live alone in the community, so the holiday season can be difficult with limited family visits or holiday spirit at home. But here, we can offer them a piece of that joy through music." #HolidaySpirit #HealthcareCompassion

This holiday season, our NICU is bringing warmth and joy to families, making each baby's first holiday season special. The NICU team beautifully decorated the unit with a cozy fireplace, festive displays, and a Christmas tree. Every baby is receiving a personalized stocking with special gifts and a unique ornament featuring their birth length (measured with a ribbon) and a footprint on the back. These keepsakes will help families treasure their baby’s first Christmas for years to come. A huge thank you to the entire NICU team for making this holiday season unforgettable for both parents and staff.
