Every business begins with an idea that someone was crazy enough to believe in and take the risk to make it happen. 🥹 We are so proud of the incredible things we’ve achieved so far but this is just the beginning. We are ready to take it to the next level by doing our first raise for nationwide growth. 💪 We wanted to bring this to our biggest supporters and Canadian community first as a thank you for all the support. We wouldn’t be here without you.

As the CMO of Taste the City, I often get asked about the key components of successful digital marketing. One crucial element that's often overlooked is entertainment. It’s hard for people to realize, but integrating entertainment into your strategy isn't just a gimmick – it works! We recently put this to the test with a fun, unconventional approach. We bought a $30 mascot, spent $100 on stickers, and $30 on microphones, and hit the streets for interviews. We asked light-hearted questions that had little to do with our business but centred around our hobby horse named, Cow. This wasn’t just a marketing stunt; it was also a fun team activity that brought us closer together as a unit. And the results spoke for themselves. We saw the biggest growth in organic social media traffic on our sites AND through bookings in the past few days. Entertainment isn't just an add-on in digital marketing – it’s a vital component that can drive engagement and growth. So next time you’re planning your strategy, don’t shy away from adding a bit of fun to the mix. Our Calgary Stampede kick-off Party was a huge success. And, of course, we booked our very own District Chef Tasting to host it. It was truly the best place for our event and the food was fantastic! Having each course come out in 15-minute increments from 5 different vendors is such a fun and unique experience and all our guests were raving about it! The District at Beltline Thank you so much to everyone who came out and participated! Have a great stampede! 🤠💕✨ #calgarystampede #yyc #exploreyyc #calgarybuzz Joanna Pariseau Melissa Joy Boerger
