Are you wondering what types of skills we are looking for as we work to bring on new members of our Board of Directors?
✔️ Facilities management - We know the importance of having buildings that are safe, comfortable, and efficient. As we grow and expand, we are hoping that you can help us see how we can use our facilities to integrate people, place, process, and technology, but even more than that to help us think through what it means for a space to be "feminist."
✔️ Legal and privacy - We know that your law background comes with keen analytical skills, the ability to identify risks, and a readiness to make recommendations based on facts, while also remembering that the grey areas are real.
✔️ Fund development - As we look at new ways of diversifying our funding streams to allow us to do our work in new and better ways, we are eager to recruit board members who can look at fund development in creative ways and challenge some of our thinking around how we find the money to do the important work we do.
✔️ Public relations - Your expertise in communications and public relations will help us shape our strategy for the future, while helping us think critically about both internal and external communications goals.
