One of the reasons so many resolutions and goals fail within the month of January is... ...our own failure to make the time to look at, and be really honest about, weather those things we 'want' speak to our hearts. Are they even ours? So much of what we 'want' isn't even us wanting it. It societal, or familial, conditioning. As a leader, YOU have the power -and responsibility - to change this. Where can you catch and reorient this dyslexia in your team? - In your business model? - In the culture you've built? - In how you approach clients and sales? Each time you catch it, and adjust, you literally change the world. It's not easy, and it's critical. ✅ It takes courage to admit that, yes, I too am a part of the collective that places the value of things over people. ✅ It takes self awareness to catch myself in the places that my business adds to the problem. ✅ It takes willingness to recognize that I have a choice in each of those moments, that I don't have to do business as 'usual'. ✅ It takes dedication to choose people over things, again and again; to become part of the solution. ✅ It takes humility to know that with all of that, it will be a process and I will fail again and again - until I don't and it becomes our new way of doing business - business as UN-usual.

Why is understanding 'healing' critical for leaders? For one, healing happens on the right side of the brain - the side we tend to ignore, and push aside.
