RForm’s mission is to simplify the complex and often fragmented contract administration process by offering a centralized platform for managing Change Orders, RFIs (Requests for Information), Submittals, and other essential project documents. In the webinar, we will explore the foundational features of RForm, how they integrate, and how to put them to use. These foundational blocks are: - Submittals and Transmittals: Essential for tracking and confirming the exchange of information and materials. - Request for Information (RFI): A critical process for clarifying and resolving uncertainties that arise during construction. - Changes and Cash Allowances: Managing financial aspects and modifying the original contract terms. - Project Files and Document Management: A robust system for organizing and retrieving project-related documentation. - Schedule of Values and Certificates for Payment: Ensuring that payment processes are transparent and aligned with project progress. - Supplemental Instructions: Provide additional guidance and directives as the project evolves. RForm aims to shave hours off administrative tasks. This, in turn, can lead to reduced overhead, fewer errors, and a more streamlined project lifecycle. The result? Projects that are not only completed with greater efficiency but also with the peace of mind that comes from having a well-organized and accessible record of all contract-related activities. Why is There No “Contract Administrator” Role in RForm? RForm, designed to streamline construction administration, may overlook the crucial role of the Contract Administrator (CA). However, this is a matter of terminology and functionality rather than omission. Contractual Basis for the “Prime Consultant” Role The concept of the “Prime Consultant” aligns with industry-standard contract documents. Both the Canadian CCDC (CCDC 2) and American AIA (AIA B101-2017 and AIA A201-2017) contracts define the role of the “Consultant” in administering the contract, including visiting the site, reviewing the work, and acting as the owner’s representative. These contractual obligations are embodied in the “Prime Consultant” role within RForm. Article Link: https://lnkd.in/ez8keGZJ
