A mid-November refresh and reminder that Reticle Ventures Canada Incorporated will be hosting a Glock Armourers Course on 29 January 2025 at our facility in Brockville, Ontario. Complete details in the description.
Reticle Ventures is proud to announce that it will host a Glock Armourers Course at our Brockville, Ontario facility. The course is one training day on 29 January 2025, from 8am-5pm with lunch provided. Training will be delivered at: Reticle Ventures Canada Inc. 4010 County Road 29 Brockville, Ontario, Canada K6V 5T4 Registration is restricted to Canadian Citizens who are employed in the following functional areas: 1. Law Enforcement (Federal, Provincial, Municipal); 2. Armed Security Agencies; 3. Federally recognized Authorization to Carry Instructors (ATC); 4. Canadian Armed Forces from a unit that operates a Glock platform; and 5. Law Enforcement contracted tactical training instructors. Tuition: 300.00 USD payable via credit card on day of instruction. Or, by invoice to you or your respective agency. No certificate will be issued until payment is received. Attendees must bring any model of Glock pistol (Gen 3,4 or 5) which does not have any internal modifications made (aftermarket triggers or other internal components) lights/red dots are acceptable. One empty magazine will also be required. No live ammunition is permitted in class. On a case by case basis Reticle may provide a loaned firearm. Commencing today marks the first day of Reticle Ventures hosting of Team Rubicon Canada’s Greyshirt Training Camp. Team Rubicon will be using the entirety of the Reticle Ventures schoolhouse and training area located in Brockville, On. From 1-10 November, Team Rubicon volunteers will learn heavy equipment operations, camp set-up, and earn a chainsaw instructor qualification. A culminating event will take place on November 8 alongside members of the Province of Ontario Emergency Management Operations Centre based on an accurately created natural disaster scenario. Reticle Ventures is proud to be able to provide this venue to a veteran-founded organization that gives so much back in continuing service to Canadians. Over the course of the past week Reticle Ventures has been honoured to host Team Rubicon Canada in the conduct of their Greyshirt Training Camp. It’s been humbling to see the work of Canadian and American volunteers who come together in sharing a common goal of continued service to communities in need. It has also allowed for reconnection with veteran colleagues, and afforded opportunities to gain new friendships. We, at Reticle thank-you for the opportunity to partner. We aspire to continue the relationship well into the future!
Building Our Readiness - It starts with people and tents! As part of our commitment to preparedness and local readiness, our Disaster Training Camp (DTC) is running this week in Brockville, Ontario. This event is crucial for enhancing TR Canada's operational capabilities and ensuring we are ready to respond swiftly. 30 Greyshirts are participating in a comprehensive training program designed to refine our deployment processes and logistical operations and expand our instructor cadre. Our volunteers will also gain vital skills for cold weather operations, including specialized chainsaw training tailored for winter conditions. This training will not only prepare our volunteers for the unique challenges of serving Northern communities but will also develop our Heavy Equipment and Chainsaw cadres, allowing us to operate effectively in diverse environments and work in combination for route clearance capabilities.
