How do you design emotions that feel authentic and approachable, without resorting to overused stock photography? That’s the challenge Humi brought to us—and Humojis were the solution. Inspired by the fingerprint in Humi’s logo, we created a system of characters capable of expressing the full range of human emotions in a way that’s repeatable, flexible, and deeply human. This innovative design system became a cornerstone of Humi’s brand, replacing generic visuals and reinforcing trust and connection at every touchpoint. Curious how systems like this can elevate your brand? Let’s talk. #BrandDesign #Humi #EmotionalConnection #CreativeBranding #Humojis

  • How do you build a brand that feels just like home for Canadian businesses? 🏡 When Humi wanted to position itself as a trusted resource for HR, payroll, and benefits, we knew the heart of their brand was in their Canadian identity. Through our brand therapy process, we landed on the tagline Where Canadian Employment Lives—a simple yet powerful way to reflect Humi’s warmth, trust, and approachability. From tone to visuals, the rebrand has helped position Humi as the backbone for businesses and employees across Canada. It’s more than a rebrand—it’s an identity that connects. Curious how branding can build trust and resonance? Let’s talk! #BrandStrategy #Rebranding #VisualIdentity #CanadianBusiness #HRSolutions #MarketingLeaders #StartupBranding #TrustBuilding

We are proud to announce the launch of Beacon Money. With an open waitlist today and launching publicly in January 2025, Beacon Money allows immigrants from around the world to open, fund and use Beacon Money within the Beacon Super App prior to their arrival, and then for their daily payment and spending needs once they are living in Canada. Permanent residents, students, and work permit holders can all settle with confidence in Canada with Beacon. Packaging has the power to tell a brand’s story, and with Stock & Crown Coffee, we aimed to communicate inclusivity and approachability. ☕️ Each blend’s design embodies a unique character—from the “Class Clown” to the “Nosy Neighbor.” This engaging approach didn’t just catch eyes; it earned Stock & Crown a place in Loblaws’ local program, expanding to over 200 shelves across Canada. 🌍 Packaging is more than just a wrapper—it’s a brand experience. Interested in exploring how design can help you make an impact? Let’s connect!

How did rebranding turn Float into one of Canada’s fastest-growing companies? 🚀 Our founder, Jared Henriques, broke down when Float (formerly Journal) approached us. They had the ambition and potential to revolutionize business spending in Canada, but they needed a clear brand direction. Our mission was simple yet impactful: to help Float clarify its identity, align its message, and set the stage for massive growth. Our brand therapy process uncovered the core values that would shape Float’s future—simplicity, empowerment, and trust. We transformed these insights into a bold new identity and a tagline that says it all: “Business spending as it should be.” The results were beyond what anyone expected: • 300x increase in customers • 12x team expansion • Recognized as one of Canada’s fastest-growing companies This wasn’t just a rebrand—it was a launchpad for growth. You can view the full case study here: https://lnkd.in/ggcagTi9 Are you curious about how brand clarity could drive real results for your business? Drop a comment or reach out directly—I’d love to chat about how strategic branding can fuel your journey.

COO at Humi. Great business is closer to music than a metronome.

Recently at Humi we launched our new brand (ideally you've seen something around this in your sphere of awareness). I wanted to shout out Renga, a Canadian brand & design agency (and happy Humi customer 😁 ) who led us through this journey. Their approach is extremely unique, and Jared Henriques and the rest of the Renga team are some of the most genuine and talented people I've ever worked with. During our project they felt like an extension of our team here at Humi and truly treated our brand and company like their own. If you're in need of a brand refresh, or some custom design work in the market-facing or product space, or fresh eyes on anything in that space, I would reach out to them. They've worked with a lot of different companies in the Canadian business ecosystem. If you have specific Qs feel free to comment or DM me directly.

  • One of our favourite parts of the Humi rebrand was how the team built the verbal identity. There are 33 pages of tactical and actionable direction for approaching copywriting across all business areas. A good brand is when you have clarity in who you are and express it well across copy and design.
