The City of Arts development, a project of the Ministry of Culture of Panama, is dedicated to developing and strengthening arts and culture in Panama. Its seven buildings provide facilities for the National Ballet of Panama, the National Symphony Orchestra, the National Institute of Culture, the National Council of Writers, the National School of Dance, the National School of Plastic Arts, and much more. The City of Arts is expected to house educational, exhibition, and collection spaces for an estimated 20,000 people per year, including 5,000 youth. Reliable Controls Authorized Dealer COPANAC S.A. installed a new building automation system during construction of the City of Arts complex to control HVAC, lighting, power generation, heat pump, fire alarming, and security equipment. Green buildings are reshaping cities around the world, driving a sustainable future for people and the planet. Recently we participated in events with the El Salvador Green Building Council and Panama Green Building Council. "It was truly an honor to be part of the VII Sustainable Cities Forum, an event hosted by the Panama Green Building Council that brought together many individuals dedicated to sustainability and was supported by such remarkable patronage," said Reliable Controls Regional Sales Manager Karina Maia Silva of the experience. "A huge thank-you to the council for giving us the opportunity to be part of this incredible event and for doing such a magnificent job in organizing it. "In El Salvador our President Tom Zaban spoke about the Reliable Controls ART of Building Sustainability and its benefits, using real data from the office of Reliable Controls Authorized Dealer MP Service S.A. de C.V., the first LEED Platinum–certified facility in El Salvador," Karina said. "It was even better to tour the headquarters and see firsthand how some the LEED points were earned. Everything was taken into consideration, including repurposing wood to create the new office furniture! Kudos to Carlos Moreno Portillo and his team on a phenomenal job and on leading the way in sustainable construction in El Salvador." As building owners across the globe seek innovative ways to meet their cybersecurity and net zero goals, we were honored to contribute to the conversation with actionable solutions. Kingdom Title Solutions, Inc. is a title insurance agency that offers residential and commercial services throughout Ohio. The company abides by five core values: creativity, stewardship, collaboration, accountability, and generosity. Authorized Dealer Control Concepts Ohio recently installed a Reliable Controls building automation system in the Kingdom Title Solutions office in Fairlawn that helps facility managers control energy consumption and optimize indoor air quality. Before the retrofit, poorly functioning variable air volume units caused temperature control issues. Control Concepts Ohio recommissioned all rooftop and variable air volume units to ensure proper operation, installing Reliable Controls devices for monitoring and control.
