CBR was founded in 1995 and quickly became the go-to source for comic industry news, discussion, and community. In recent years, our digital publication has become a sought-after source for Movies, TV, Anime, and gaming. CBR's mission is to supply anyone interested in pop culture, superheroes, and geek entertainment with information and resources that will provide a greater appreciation and investment in their respective fandoms, such as Marvel, DC, Star Wars, Dragon Ball, Lord of the Rings and so much more. CBR has been honored to publish columns and features from the industry's most well-known names, many of whom have since seen their work adapted to the big and small screens. This includes Robert Kirkman, whose work is the inspiration behind AMC’s The Walking Dead Universe, and Matt Fraction, whose acclaimed Hawkeye run informed the hit Marvel Studios/Disney+ series of the same name. CBR is owned and operated by Valnet Inc.

Ever wondered what it's like to work at CBR? Let me tell you, its quite the experience being ushered in by an awesome team of likeminded creatives. All focused on writing compelling film and television criticism, and driven by a relentless passion which is fuelled through collaboration. Coupled with my own website work, that has offered me critical freedom, a professional platform, and a recognisable voice on this journey - CBR have proved to be invaluable when it comes to learning something new within a culture that actively encourages its contributors. My plan for 2025 is to expand on that experience, build on that foundation, and piece it together brick by brick. Taking another step in the right direction alongside collaborators old and new, venturing into uncharted waters. To move out of my comfort zone, take on new challenges, and make those moments matter by broadening my horizons. If anyone out there with the power of publishing at their fingertips is looking for a unique voice in 2025, capable of talking the hind legs off a donkey about film and television drop me a DM - we have things to discuss.. #2025 #collaborations #film #television #ign #criticism #freelance

Congratulations to CBR critic & host Caroline M. Ramsburg for earning her MA in Digital Journalism and Design summa cum laude from the University of South Florida! Caroline is an expert in countless movie, TV, comic book, anime, and gaming properties and has become one of the cornerstones of CBR's Comic-Con International media suite in San Diego. She was a panelist for the Golden Age for Women in Comics panel at SDCC 2023 and she's even hosted Anime Journalism 101 panels for Holiday Cosplay Tampa Bay and St Pete Comic Con. Amazing work, Caroline!

I'm not typically big on holiday episodes. They can be fun at the time they first air, but they feel out of place and distracting during rewatches. Grey's Anatomy's "Thanks for the Memories" is a unique exception and one of my favorite episodes of the series. https://lnkd.in/e5yWeuMS
